  Clicking on the join button Virgil felt a sense of home, calling his friends (Roman, Remus, Logan, Patton, and Janus) who lived across the country was fun, despite the fact that he had yet to let them hear his voice, scared that they'd not like it, as his appearance definitely didn't fit his voice. He really didn't like speaking for that reason it made him feel gross

   That brought him to this moment,

   "Unmute! Unmute! Unmute! Unmute!" Roman, Remus, and Patton were chanting. Only Janus and Logan watching scliently, seemingly annoyed with the other three.

    Virgil was dying in embarrasment as he attempted to hide behind his purple bangs and sink into his my chemical romance hoodie. A good torturous 3 minutes  of being "yelled at" and much inner turmoil later, he pressed unmute, much to the delight of his three rambunctious friends.

He heard as Janus sighed, "Virgil darling you really dont need to listen to those bozos. Unmute when you're ready."
 
    He says kindly giving Virgil a half smile, her eyes showing that she wasn't lying as he spoke. While Janus spoke Logan nodded in agreement, ashamed that its other friend were being so rude
     "I agree Virgil, you shouldn't fall to the hands of peer presure. I understand why you're nervous to speak"
     It gave Remus, Roman, and Patton a slight disappointed look.

    Virgil shook his head, "N-no it's fine" Virgil mumbles, not even looking at the camera, well the laptop he was calling them on. He felt almost impending doom once he spoke and wished no one had heard. What if they hated him for having such a high voice? Its not like he could change it in his current situation.

    Not even moments after virgils timid reassurance all you can hear is a thud then scrambling as if someone was trying to escape a demon. Virgil looks back to the computer did his voice make someone hate him? They all knew he wasn't cis, right?
   
         Remus was nowhere to be see on the screen. A faint but clean exclamation of

"Holy fuck im in love!"
   Was heard from somewhere in the twins home. Roman burst out laughing, fucking finally Remus realized he had a crush on the emo. Although the realization probably shouldn't have been realized while everyone could hear him but oh well what's he going to do?

   Virgils face turned tomato red under his foundation, he could feel his face go hot and tried to hid before anyone saw. Which was too late as Janus and Patton saw, much to their delight.

   Remus eventually came back into veiw, sitting back next to Roman, face flushed and plans of confessions in place

"Remus we could all hear-" Patton started before Logan muted him, cutting off his sentance, earning a pout from the father figure.

  Virgil was settling down after the whole remus screaming and the rest of their conversation, he sighs softly and checks his phone, he got a message from remus

'Hey virgin, can we talk?'

Virgil read and typed back quickly, biting his lip as anxiety flooded his body..that was never a good sign.

'Uh sure, whats up?'

'Wanna fuck?'
'Jk'
'Unless-'

Virgil let out a sigh of relief it was just Remus being stupid again
'Nahh im good, id rather fuck a garbage can'

'I am a bunch of trash ya know

'....okay fair-'

'But in all seriousness- pfft funny of me to say that'

'continue if you even have a point dumbass'

'You're smoking hot and so fucking perfect foe a trash man like me, actually you're out of my league buttttt'
