"bruh she's walking over here", I say running to sit on Mel's lap

Ally just laughed following behind me.

I burry my face in the crook of Mel's neck
"Babe what's wrong?", She coos in my ear, but I don't answer

"Yo what's good", I hear Ally say

"Life", a familiar voice speaks up

"Hey nice to meet you I'm Nathalie and you are" I feel Mel outstretch her arm

"I'm Melani and likewise"

"Hey Jessi", Nat sings

"Hello", I reply curtly

I look up to see her staring down at us
"...um can you like leave or something"

"Wow okay sure", she says walking away looking hurt

How dare she come up to me and act like nothing happened... like she didn't just up and leave without the slightest explanation. I would have rather her broken up with me and explained why, but no she just left me.

We spent a good portion of the day at the beach. After our little outing we decided to just chill at my house

"I'm not cooking shit for anyone, the deep freezer is in the garage!" , I yell to my friends

I laugh dryly, "explain? Don't you think it's a bit late for that"

"Well yeah but-"

"There is no buts, I don't want to hear what you have to say I'm finally happy again and you're not going to ruin this for me", I say before I hang up the phone

"Babe who was that?", Mel groans out in her sleepy voice

"No one important", I answer kissing her forehead
