The Rising Red Sun

Chaptor one: The Red Sun rises

All there was, red. The scenery faded in as a girl opened her silver eyes, her whole body ached to high hell as she tried to sit up "owwwwww where am I? god I don't remember anything". 

The green grass brushed against her hand as the wind blowed through her black and white hair. The trees around her covered in weird directions and had yellow leaves on their spindly branches.

Her purple body suit was damaged beyond repair.  gloves torn, the one boot that was left on her was ripped, the chest area had multiple holes in it. She suddenly felt a sharp pain at the back of her head, when she touched the spot were she felt the pain her hand became wet with blood. she waved her hand around, getting most of the blood off but it still stained her hand a bit. Trying to relax and process really anything she pressed her back up against the tree behind her.

An apple looking fruit fell from the tree in front of her. She felt a bit hungry so she picked it up and bit it. One singular thought popped into her head when she took a bite of it 'silver'. she felt the word had some meaning to her but she couldn't put her finger on it. 

Silver got up and started to walk, She wasn't sure where she was going but thinking moving is better then staying still at this time. Soon she came across a lake with animals circling around and drinking from it, most of them where on all fours. silver went up to the lake, surprisingly none of the animals there didn't run away when she got near her. Silver sat down on her knees, cupping her hands and drinking.

Silver now hydrated and slightly full kept exploring. after a while she noticed that the sun hasn't moved or has only moved a bit "guess days are longer here" she noted.

The sounds of welding and hammer strikes caught silvers attention, they came from over the hill. She made her way over to the source of the noise.

A reptile humanoid was putting a panel on what looked to be a space cruiser. The humanoid had four metallic arms coming from the sides of his back, two on each side, the arms extended about the same length as the reptiles arms. instead of hands the arms had tools attached at the wrists, two of them had the same attachment which was a welding torch the other two had a hammer on the left and on the right was a soldering gun. The reptile scales were a dark green and scuffed up a lot and dirty. he was wearing tight black pants,brown and black boots that went up past his ankles, purple long sleeve shirt and gloves. Around the ship were a few boxes that were opened.

He was putting the panel back a ship that looked fairly good, some dents and scratches here and there but nothing major. The front of the ship was shaped like an arrow with the rest of the body going out then thinning back down at the back. most of it was black with a few spray painted gold parts.

The Lizard noticed her and pulled out a pistol and pointed it her "w-who are you!?!?" his voice was shaky and so was his body.

Silver put her hands up immediately "hey hey don't shoot!" she quickly said.

The Lizard realized she wasn't a threat and put the gun away "come o-over I guess" he was still a bit wary of her. Silver went over to him, making sure not to make any sudden movements. When she got over to him she noticed his blue eyes and some scars on his forehead, and chin. "don't try anything...please" His voice was a bit shaky still.

"Ummmmmmmm what are you doing here?" silver asked, wanting to strike up a conversation to seem more friendly to him and to calm his nerves.

"E-exploring at first b-but then a storm came i-in and now i've be-been here repairing my ship" he sighed after finishing his sentence. He went back to putting the panel back on, glancing over at Silver every few seconds.

"Storm?" Silver asked. She put the lid back on one of the boxes and sat down.

"y-ya, i've been here for about a f-few weeks now...i'd r-recommend checking y-your body for skin r-rippers" he walked over to her and pulled a long bug out of her foot.

Silver screamed "WHAT IS THAT!?!?" she held her foot, covering the spot where he had pulled the bug out.

The bug was silvers skin color but it slowly turned green, it was around 6 inches long. the bug was wiggling and squirming, its sharp fangs making a quiet chattering noises.

he threw the bug far away and shivered in disgust "i-it was a skin ripper, I-I dont want to describe w-what they do" he shivered again. "so..." He changed the topic quickly "w-whats your name?"

"...Silver" her voice sounded unsure and she knew scout heard it too.

"Scout" he smiled a bit. His mechanical arms folded up and pressed themselves up against Scout back, forming a x on his back.

"Do you have to cut out holes in your shirt to have those arms on you?" Silver giggled.

Scout sighed "yes, evey new shirt I get I spend like 10 minutes cutting out the holes."

Silver was giggled when she felt water drip onto her head. She slowly looked up as it started to rain then quickly transitioned to pouring. Scout ran inside the ship "come on" he said to silver, gesturing for her to come in. She ran in, scout closing the door behind her.

Scout sighed softly "God I'm already soaked." mechanical arms unfolded, shaking off the water then folded them back up then he shook off the water that was on him, Silver did the same as Scout.

"Hey ummmm Silver right? Why don't you take off that broken suit?" Scout asked.

"Oh ya, I kinda forgot that was on me" Silver replied, giggling a bit. She took off the suit, leaving her in a long white shirt and fluffy white pants.

"Once we're o-off this planet I'll get you a new one ok?" Scout offered.

"Sure, thank you" Silver smiled at him.

There was a sudden knock at the entrance of the ship "b-but we should be the only two on this planet" Scout mumbled, panicking slightly.

"Calm down its probably just an animal" Silver said, trying to calm him down.

"I'm not an animal and I find it rude that your assuming I am one, now open up" a mans voice from outside of the ship demanded "or you'll be cut down."
