Chapter 17~

Lauren's POV
Once the ambulance gets here, Ethan, Gray, and I just stand in shock when they put Taylor in the ambulance.
"Can we go with her?" Ethan asks the paramedic.

"Are you guys friends or family to her?" The paramedic asks.

"I'm Ethan, her boyfriend, and these are her friends Lauren and Grayson." Ethan says.

"Yeah sure, hop in." The paramedic says.

We get into the ambulance and go off to the hospital and the paramedic asks us questions about Taylor.
"How long have you guys known her?" The paramedic asks.

"Well I've known her since 3rd grade but these guys have known her for a week." I say

"Sorry to interrupt but what's your name?" Grayson asks the paramedic.

"Mike." He says.

"Ok." Grayson says.

"So how long do you think she was out before you called us?" Mike asks.

"Probably a minute or two." Ethan says.
Mike asks more questions and we give him answers. We finally get to the hospital.

Ethan's POV
Once we get to the hospital, they take Taylor into one of the rooms and we all sit in the waiting room.

All I'm thinking is if she's gonna be okay. I look over at Lauren and Grayson and Lauren looks so scared. Gray almost looks as scared as her. I can't blame them, I'm terrified too.

"Friends of Taylor Christie." The doctor says and we all stand up.

He takes us to Taylor's room and she was asleep. She looked so peaceful while she was sleeping. I was still worried though.
"Is she going to be okay?" I ask the doctor.

"Yes, she will be perfectly fine but she will have to rest here overnight. One of you may stay here tonight if you'd like." She says. We all look at each other and say that I should stay.

"I'll stay overnight with her." I tell the doctor.

"Okay. I have to go see another patient right now but just call me if you need anything. Oh, and you may take her home tomorrow morning." She says pointing to her name tag that reads the name "Andrea." We nod and she walks out.

Grayson's POV
When Andrea walks out, Ethan sits in the chair next to Taylor's bed and holds her hand. I know how he's feeling right now.
"It's all my fault." Ethan mumbles under his breath.

"What?" Lauren and I say.

"It's all my fault!" He says louder while clenching his fist.

"Hey, don't say that. None of this is your fault." Lauren says

"Yes it is, she wouldn't be in the hospital right now if I wouldn't have left her and grabbed my stupid camera. I could've been out there with her, warning her about the wave and everything ." He says. A tear runs down his face seconds later.

"Hey, everything will be okay. You heard the doctor, she will be out by tomorrow morning." I say, patting his back.

"Yeah, you're right." He says.

"Hey Ethan, Gray and I are gonna go grab Taylor some clothes for tomorrow." Lauren says. Ethan nods and we drive to Taylor's house.

Once we got there, I let Lauren go upstairs to grab Taylor's clothes cuz I know that Lauren would know what to grab.

She comes back downstairs with sweatpants, one of Ethan's t-shirts that she loves, and her UGG boots. We get back into the car and drive to the hospital.

Ethan's POV
A couple minutes after Grayson and Lauren leave, Taylor starts to wake up.

"Hey princess." I say kissing her forehead.

"Hi baby, how long have you been here?" She asks.

"About a half hour. Are you feeling better?" I ask.

"Yeah. Wait, where are Lauren and Gray?" She asks.

"They went to go get you clothes, you can come home tomorrow morning." I say.

"Yay!" She says. I smile and kiss her.

Taylor's POV
Ethan says that I can go home tomorrow morning and I'm so happy. I've been here for about 2 hours and I already hate it.

Lauren and Gray walk in and look surprised that I'm awake.

"Hey guys, you look like you've seen a ghost!" I say, laughing.

"YOU'RE AWAKE!!" Lauren says giving me a huge hug.

"Yes I am. Thanks captain obvious." I say.

"Are you feeling better?" Grayson asks.

"Yeah, a lot actually." I say to him.

"That's good." He says, followed by giving me a hug.

Since it's like 7 pm right now, we just decide to hang out in the room and watch some tv and stuff. The doctor comes in a couple minutes later.

"Oh, Taylor, I didn't think you would be awake haha. Are you feeling ok?" She asks.

"Yes, I feel great actually." I say.

"That's good. Do you know about tomorrow and everything?" She says.

"Yup. I can leave anytime in the morning right?" I ask.

"Yes and um..." She says pointing at Ethan.

"Ethan." He says

"Right, thank you. Ethan will be staying with you tonight." Andrea says.

"Ok." I say.

"Alright. Taylor you should get some rest soon. Let me know if you need anything." She says.

"Will do." I say.

"We're gonna head out. See you tomorrow guys." Lauren says, grabbing Grayson's hand.

"Ok, see ya." Ethan says.

"Bye." I say

They walk out and Ethan and I decide to go to sleep. There's a couch so he wouldn't have to sleep in those chairs.

"Goodnight princess." He says.

"Night baby." I say, then I fall asleep.

I know I haven't updated in a while I'm sorry I've just been procrastinating at writing this but it's up now!
