Ruthless. That's how everybody described the match between Karasuno and Tokonami. Even though both schools weren't really well-known. Rumor spread like a wildfire. People, students, coaches, and even interested civilians gathered inside the Sendai City Gymnasium, all with a sole and unified purpose. To watch their match.
"That's crazy.", "There's no way this is humanely possible.", "He's a monster.." They all talked amongst themselves, witnessing history right before their very eyes. Speaking of eyes, all of them locked onto one particular court, which was a totally one-sided match.
Karasuno vs Tokonami
23 - 0"We haven't even scored one yet.." Someone from Tokonami High mumbled while breathing heavily from both exhaustion and panic. He had a bruise on his arm which was totally noticable, most likely from intercepting a few of the enemy's serves.
Oikawa: "Interesting.. He's interesting! That's 23 service aces now.." He was enthusiastic, mainly because he was really excited to play against Karasuno. "That's more than what you normally get, idiot.." Iwaizumi scolded before smacking the guy. "That hurt, Iwa-chan.."
A loud sound which mimicked a thunder roar, boomed through the court once more. As everybody predicted, another no-touch ace was scored by none other than Y/N L/N himself.

"How boring.. so this is what that quote meant.. they look mentally broken, had I not done this, it would've probably been a fine match.. But since I've gotten this far, I should just finish it up.. I wanna do a Jump Floater for a change.. but they're all watching me.." You contemplated, receiving a ball some staff member bounced towards you. Waiting for the whistle to blow, you held it at the same stance as the previous times.
As the start of service was about to begin, the referee signalled a time-out. Tokonami's Coach had a look of disbelief, asking for their final time-out.
...
"We're at set point.. Y/N.." Keishin Ukai called in amazement. Everyone gathered around while you sat on the bench with a towel slung over your shoulders. "Why are you doing something like this?" He asked with a raised brow, eager to know your answer.
Y/N: "Because I read a quote and wanted to test something out.." You replied, but the answer made everybody sweat drop in dumbfoundedness. "Hmm, sure, can you keep your streak through the second set as well?", ".. I could but I won't, I'm limiting myself to 25 serves for the match with Tokonami, then I'm going all out against our next opponent..."
Kageyama: "That's completely fine, Y/N-san, we haven't even broken a sweat yet. Honestly, I envy how you're casually making 25 service aces in one match.." He admitted, "Yeah, we can't have Y/N do all the job, keep your guard up, who knows he might mess up.." Daichi joked halfheartedly as an interruption, finding a way to encourage his teammates, who were in a state of calmness.
Hinata: "Y/N-san, let me touch the ball, too!" He whined in a restless state. Fidgeting around in anticipation. "That's right, idiot, we're supposed to be a team." Nishinoya followed, playfully smacking you on the arm. "Keep it down a bit, Y/N." Sugawara advised, emitting a refreshing vibe to his teammates. "Yeah, give me a chance to spike the ball, too.." Asahi also requested, they all received a snort of incredulity from yours truly before you stood up.
