In the beginning there were elements of fire and water. Being the most powerful elements, they were also the concentration of the power of the entire universe. However, it was found not wise to put so much essence of magic into just two elements.

Therefore, the following elements were created; air, earth and nature. Dragons, being the most gifted and powerful creatures to ever exist at that time, have been blessed with the possibility of wielding these powers proudly.

Then, the dragon race decided to create a hierarchy in which positions were held based on elemental powers and combat skills.

That's how the Royal Families arose - Everglow, the Air Royalty; Faeynore, the Nature Royalty; Reynar, the Earth Royalty; and finally, Fiereye and Castex families - Fire Royalty and Water Royalty. Since then, those tribes were rulying Keraciah. Other races started to call them "the gifted species".

When the war broke out, dragon species made their strongest representatives of each royalty a group called Guardians Of The Elements. Every Guardian had their own triofa - the only talismans which were powerful enough to consume dragon's soul without getting rid of it's element's power.

Triofas were made by the unknown gods of Keraciah right after elements became a thing. This jewelry was supposed to accumulate the powers of the dragons wielding them after their souls were placed in these necklaces. Each successive generation of Guardians receiving talismans becomes even stronger, as the souls of previously killed Guardians fuse their power together in the amulets.

That way every next generation was stronger than the previous one. However, once a soul gets trapped in a triofa, it can't get into an afterlife and will wander endlessly between the life and death. That was a sacrifice Guardians were willing to make to protect Keraciah and dragon kingdom from humans and demons.

Once the strongest demons got locked in the Heige and Keraciah got splited apart into Alleira and Earth, everyone thought that Guardians won for eternity and there will not be any danger anymore, except for small assasults or robberies in the woods and villages which they could easily take care of.

Nothing could be more wrong, for over three decades ago a traitor was born in the Fiereye Royalty.

One day Karo Fiereye - a royal descendant - without any permission visited the Heige, released and made a pact with the king of demons right after turning seventeen. They gave their soul to Uzlaregh for access to his power, then decided to betray, threaten and assasult both Fiereye and Castex families, destroying the castles. Since then, they were called "The One Who Broke The Eternal Peace" or "The Demon Ruler".

That's where the story begins.
