It's been a week and half since my arrival and therefore a week and half since Kai left. And Ace is not happy about it at all.
In fact, she has become very aggitated, lately. She doesn't just snap at anybody out of nowhere or anything. There's just an aura around her that radiates irritation. Her eyes seem to glow an even stormier shade of violet and I find that her face will often make its way to some kind of twisted expression. Luhan tells me that this is the longest Kai's been gone. The two have never been apart for more than a day. I see the way Ace moves--stiffer, more abrupt, more rapid tapping of the feet. The fidgetting of the fingers. It's like she's addicted to him.
Kai's absence has managed to take some sort of toll on his brothers, too. Chanyeol's laugh is not as out of control or joyous as usual. Neither is Sehun's ability to be adorable. Now he just sits around, moping without expression at all. And aegyo? Ha! Forget it. Even me. I only got to have a glimpse of the boy, and somehow a longing for his presence has infected me.

Sehun seems to be more distant than usual, today. He sits off by himself, and whenever I attempt to start a conversation with him, he gives minimal answers and then drifts off elsewhere. At one point, I can't tolerate his aloofness. I walk over to Luhan, who was meditating off on a rock.
"Sorry to interrupt," I say as I lean on the rock. He pops one eye open and smiles at me. It looks as if he's winking at me.
"It's fine," he says, scooting over, "Care to join me?" He pats on the spot next to him.
"Heh, it's like you read my mind or something," I joke as I climb up. He touches my hand and helps me up. The shock. It happens again.
I yelp as I slide off of the rock from my reaction, which was a slight spazz from the jolt, landing on my behind. We both stare at each other. This was the second time we've touched each other and the electricity has happened again.
Is this going to happen everytime we hang out?
Refusing to diss Luhan, I climbed up on the rock on my own. I dust out any leftover dirt and grass in my hair and criss-cross my legs, facing him. I let out a huff out of exaggerated exhaustion. Even though this is only the second time the shock ever happened, it is getting old quickly.
"I'm not sure about that," he says. I cock my head to the side, smiling a bit.
"So, meditation... nice," I say. He smiles at me as he crosses his own legs.
"Being a telekinetic, you sort of have to. I'm working on levitation," he explains. My eyebrows raise in curiousity. I watch as he put his hands together in an interesting shape and close his eyes. I study him--his thick downcasted eyelashes, his clear milky skin, his honey colored hair that falls perfectly to frame his youthful face. Staring at him seems to feed me some kind of jovial energy that makes me smile.
He's so cute!
But all of a sudden his eyes pop open, staring at me, and his pale skin flushes. A shy smile emerges on his face and soon he seems afraid to even look me in the eye now.
I attempt to shift over on to my other side, but a sharp pain from my bottom restricts that movement. I try my best not to let out a mumble, not wanting to catch anyone's attention. Luhan seems to have readjusted himself, as well. There's a subtle expression of pain on his face; his closed eyes now squeezed and his eyebrows furrowed. As I finally manage to get confortable, I can't help but turn my attention to little Sehun.
He lays on the ground, only stooped up by the stump of the tree. His eyes are elsewhere. His expression would amost be considered stoic, but a slight sign of frustration has polluted that. A butterfly flitters its way over to him, stopping right in front of the boy's face as if to greet him. He stares at the insect for merely a second, in that short time he manages to give a glare as intense as death. Although, that doesn't seem to phase the butterfly, because it begins to flap its way over to Sehun's nose. Sehun blows it far past his feet before it could even touch him.
