Cut to the next scene where everybody from upstairs is awake. They are all either at the kitchen table eating the pancakes that William made, or watching TV in the party room.
Abigail: Have you seen William?
Cameron: Not since last night, but he left a note.
Abigail: He left a note?
Cameron: Well, it's like him to stay in character.
Abigail: How is that in character?
Cameron: Why he's a secretary. Secretaries write notes.
Abigail: He told me he was a lawyer. Which I wasn't prepared for 'cause I'm a lawyer.
Cameron: Well that's contradictory.
Abigail: Yeah.....So, note?
Cameron: Right! It says.....-reads note- 'Went to check on sis, be back momentarily. I made pancakes for you, eat them, they're extraordinary.'
Abigail: Great, so he's a poet too.
Cameron: -shrugs- I wonder how long it's been?
Abigail: I'm guessing a long while because all the pancakes are gone and so are half the people.
Cameron: Why don't we go check on him?
Abigail: Okay, let me grab Raquel.
Abigail grabs Raquel who was sleeping and the trio heads downstairs. Surprisingly, all the lights are on. They search every room and turn off the lights as they go. Soon they regroup and shoot each other confused glances.
Raquel: -sleepily- Are you sure they came down here?
Cameron: Yeah, the note said so.
Abigail: Nathan, Toby, and Jay are missing also.
Raquel: Let me see this note.
Cameron hands Raquel the note. She reads it as Cameron questions Abigail.
Cameron: -to Abigail- What makes their disappearance so special? You said yourself that over half the party has already left.
Raquel finished reading the note and looks at the other two.
Raquel: What about his little sis, Lily?
Cameron: How do you know her name?
Raquel: We lived in the same area when we were younger. I babysat Lily a lot.
Abigail: To answer your question Cameron, we had an outing planned with Nathan and Jay, they promised not to leave without us.
Raquel: Not to mention, Toby rarely ever leaves Nathan. They're true blue brothers.
Cameron: I hope they're not in danger.
Raquel: You're so super suspicious.
Cameron: You mean superstitious.
Raquel: Yeah, that too.
Abigail: How 'bout I call Johnny? He's a private detective. Plus, he owes me one.
Raquel: Will that make you feel better?
Cameron: A little. But I still have this creepy feeling they're in danger. Big danger.
