Chapter 1 : explianing life and getting to school

Tris POV:
Today I start a new school at dauntless high, I used to live in Florida and my semi-family and me just moved to here,(Chicago). So by my semi-family I mean my step mother Rose Danish, my step sister Calie Danish, my father Andrew prior, my brother Caleb prior, and me Tris prior. After my mother Natalie prior died everything went down hill, my father has beaten me and has a like in calling me things like slut, bitch and stuff like that, also my step mom and step sister have been mean to me so yeah that's how happy my life is,( note the sarcasm) . Though on the other hand my brother Caleb is nice to me and actually cares about me, I was also bulled in my old school so I just hope people like me at dauntless high but I don't know. Due to everything that's happening/happened to me I cut myself to get relief, I end up wondering around with my eyes and I find my clock and see it is 6:30 and I have to be at school at 7:30 so I have a hour. I decide to get up and get out of my bed to get ready and take a shower, I walk into my bathroom and take off all my clothes and hop into the shower the water feels so good on my back from the beating last night and the cuts on my writs which are also from last night.
15 or so minutes later
I get out the shower and see it is 6:47, I leave the bathroom to go look in my closet with my towel around my body to see what I can wear to school I want to make good impression. I end up picking out a pair of my purple skinny jeans, my long-sleeve lace shirt, and my flower print flats, get dressed and put on some make up I put on mascara, blue eye liner, soft/light pink eye shadow, and very nude pick lipstick. I also put on my small light pick heart earrings, my pink bracelet to cover up my cuts and lastly my mothers necklace that's a heart locket with a picture of my brother and me on one side and my mother and father on the other side and on the front of the locket it has "I love you" engraved on it. After I finish getting ready i go over to my outlet by my bed and unplug my phone and see it is 7:08 so I start my way down stairs trying to avoid Andrew, rose, and caile. Caleb and caile are probably already in school because they like to go earlier well earlier then me, I avoid them so YEAH!, and I walk out the front door and get into my black jeep in the driveway and start off to my first day at dauntless high.
