My biggest worries for Avengers 2

It's time for my endless rant to begin as I step on the Soap Box...

Number 1: Who will make Ultron?
Ok, so all us super nerds know that Ultron was created by Hank Pim; Ant Man or GiANT man. But we also know that Hank Pim hasn't so much as made a cameo in any of the Avengers movie series' which has been the butt of many jokes. (Mad television did a field day with it) Of course there is the Ant Man movie that will becoming out. BUT that will be starring the second Ant Man not Hank Pim. The rumors have been they might EXCLUDE the character entirely and have IRON MAN create Ultron not Ant man. And...ok.
As I say it out loud that might work. After Iron Man 3, they left us on the note: wait, what?? Which was epic. We all knew it wasn't the end but it did leave us on a cliff hanger that made us want more and with a lot of good questions. How is he going to be Iron Man now? What does this mean for the Avengers? What does this mean for TONY STARK? And without any follow up; him trying to create something to better humanity and still carry on the Iron Man duties and then back firing would create an amazing opportunity for our hero to not only redeem himself, and figure out how to destroy his own creation, but to dig himself out what could be the greatest emotional battle he'll ever deal with. This could possibly be a much better story and character development rather than introduce a new character and make that awkward transition into liking him when he's introduced with the WORST POSSIBLE thing to ever happen or COULD happen!

And don't get me wrong, I am a HUGE Ant Man fan; more so of the original who creates Ultron than the new one that Marvel will be focusing on, but I'll get to that later.
I agree; Hank Pim probably should've been introduced earlier in the series so maybe we wouldn't have to ADD this new character many know nothing about, but the truth is if we decided to add him NOW he would become like the doctor who no one remembered from the FIRST Avengers movie. Yeah, remember that guy? He was the scientist who at the end told Black Widow how to destroy the Triskelion and at the beginning showed us what it was immediately before it went out of control and Loki took himself and Hawkeye prisoner.
That's who Ant Man would become. Look at the similarities:
1. A new character at S.H.I.E.L.D. We have ONLY just met for the purpose of the weapon that will be the cause of our heroes struggle
2. A scientist who knows all about the weapon, knows how to destroy it, and/or created/found it.
The only difference is that Ant Man is a REAL character with a REAL back story and could have a huge impact or purpose despite the weapon he makes or succumbs to turning to. But if he were introduced in this format at this time, the Ant Man we would want to see would be an ultimate let down.

Number 2: Maria Hill

It is proven that Maria Hill WILL be in the next Avengers movie...but for how much of the movie?
I expected her to have a much bigger role in Captain America 2, but I didn't mind that much. At least we saw her and she was still keeping up her bad ass character and keeping up with S.H.I.E.L.D. I was squealing with joy when she made a reappearance in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D just because when she was there she was always just...Maria Hill. I think that the actress is a perfect fit and they have opened up the door for her character. And if anyone's gonna reveal Nick Fury being alive then it should be the one who reveal Phil Coulson is.

But, again, I have absolutely NO IDEA what her role in the movie will be or if she'll even in fact get her screen time or if it'll get cut like it has been many times not just in Avengers but also Captain America Two.

There is that image floating around where she is wearing Steve Rogers jacket and I have to point it out. I feel like Joss Whedon reads the fanfiction. Because he has done such subtle work with new couples, it's almost as if testing the water and the reactions he'll get from the little things he does. Like adding in the if you squint (really hard) you can see the relationship between Maria Hill and Steve Rogers is a little more than professional and is open to experimentation. They also did this with Sharon Carter in the movie and Black Widow. I'll get to that another time. But if they do decide to show the relationship evolve between the Captain and the Agent/deputy Director I can promise the fans will not be disappointed.
