Heavy breathing

The dirty road, a grey colour. A couple leaves scattered about, the trees green.

A boy, riding his bike in the middle of the road.

No one there, not a single soul.

Cars parked by the sides.

Colourful houses seem like blurs in his eyes as he zooms down the road.

Backpac on, peddling by standing on the pedals.

Leaning forward, heavy breathing.

White t shirt visible from under the unzipped jacket.

He reaches a place, getting off the bike.

Put a wire on it, locking it to the ramp, walking through the small lot of the area.

Scanning the area, keeping a low profile.

A couple people around, civilians.

"Maybe, it depends if they get another cash offer," A man says, the boy bumped into him.

He turns around, throwing a hand up while still walking, "Sorry."

The man on the phone nods and continues walking.

The boy looks down at his hands, and casually scanning the area. Still looking around, pulls some cash out of the wallet he stole, quickly slipping it into his pocket.

Closed the wallet.

He looks up, walking towards another man, he lifts the plain black wallet up to him.

Still walking by, "Hey, I just found this in the lot." He said, handing the man the wallet. "Thanks."

He continues his walk, going through a small garden.

He now sits in a driveway, next to the chained fence, and the garage door. Bike next to him while he eats a sandwich, and reads a book.

A woman called out to a boy, "Gon."

Said male walked down the hall, seeing his Aunt packing. "Last chance for you to come with us." She says, referring to her and Abe leaving.

Gon leans against the white pillar, the one to the side of the opening to the kitchen. "I'm good." He says, smiling.

"And you're sure you're going to be okay?" Mito says, hand on her hip.

Gon nods his head, "I'll be at college in five months." He said, giving her a snarky smile. She sighed, "I know, I know." She said, walking around the kitchen.

Gon watched as she did her thing, putting his hands into his pockets. "Go to the meet, I'll be fine." He said.

She walked over to him, holding a paper. "And you promise, you're not going to have anyone over?" She said sternly, pointing her finger at him.

He put his hand on the back of the island chair, "Yes." Mito sighed, looking at him smugly, knowingly.

"Including your boyfriend." Gon hesitated slightly, responding annoyingly. "I think thats dumb, but yes."

Mito spoke again, "If his mom is around, his place is fine."

Gon looked at her, upset. "He's still not out to his mom yet. Please, let that go." Mito sighed, zipping up her bag. "Okay."

"Mito, hurry up." Abe called from the other room. Mito put her hand up, head down, eyes closed. "I'm not going to fight about it."

"Riiiight." Gon said, helping her with her bags.
