Jay's POV: As I got changed in me and Erin's room, I just sighed because I knew that was I going to be in trouble the minute she came up here. I just rushed off and yelled a bit. The truth is that I am just exhausted. It's been a long day and I have been on the computer all day at the office. I have been going through a bunch of electronic records and my eyes were hurting. God, I am just waiting for Erin to come upstairs. That's when I heard her at the door of our master ensuite. "Jay?" Turning to look at her. "Hey." Erin just walked in and got close to me. "You okay Jay?"
I was a little taken a back when that was what she said. I swore that she was going to be mad at me. "You aren't mad?" Erin seemed confused when I said that. "At what?" I just sighed. "I basically walked in and just came up here to our room. I was a jack ass downstairs..." Erin agreed with me when I said that. "Jay, I can tell that something's wrong. What's up?" I sighed and agreed with her, walking up to me. She then came to wrap her arms around me and smiled at me. "You tired?" I nodded when she asked me that and smiled as she put her hands on her neck.
"You want to come lay down in bed with me?" I agreed with her and just smiled as I went to grab her hand. Leading me towards our bed, Erin smiled because we were about to get cozy in bed with each other. Heck, maybe we can talk for a little bit. Going to turn around to look at me once we were standing next to our bed, Erin just smiled as I got close to her. Putting her hands on my chest, Erin smiled while I put my hands on her stomach. "You like putting your hands on our kids don't you?" I nodded and agreed with her when she told me that. Smiling, I went to kiss her.
"God, I love kissing you." Erin laughed and agreed with me when I said that. "I love kissing you too. But let's go sit down in bed for a minute okay? I already told Hank that we needed a minute to talk." I agreed with Erin when she told me that. Going to grab her hand, I smiled as we both made our way out to our room so that we could get in bed for a minute. Making her way to bed first, Erin smiled as she went to open the covers and then got in with me. Sitting up, Erin smiled at me. "Lay down and I will cuddle up to you." I nodded and agreed with Erin, liking the idea.
Laying down, I just smiled at Erin as she came to lay down close to me. Wrapping my arm around her back, I smiled as I went to kiss her forehead softly. Putting my hand on her stomach, I smiled as I went to stroke it with my thumb. "Long day?" I nodded and agreed with Erin when she asked me that, smiling as I felt her put her hand on the top of my chest. Moving my arm around her back, I smiled as I went to grab the covers and then tugged them up. Putting my hand on her arm, I just smiled. "I feel like a jerk for coming up here." Erin shook her head when I said that.
"Jay, you're tired. If you need a moment to lay down, then you can come lay down." I agreed with Erin when she said that and just smiled as I turned to look into her eyes. Smiling, I went to kiss Erin softly. Taking it slow with her, I was so glad that this was what we were doing right now. This was absolutely perfect and I was so glad that we were alone right now. Laying her head on my chest, Erin went to kiss my chest and just smiled because she was happy to be alone with me. However, it wasn't long before we were disturbed. More specifically by my phone's texts.
Reaching over, I went to go grab my phone so that I could see who it was and respond.
Will: You okay? Want us to leave? Jay: No. We'll be down soon. Will: You sure? Voight's worried. Jay: It's been a long day. A long of computer work. Will: Oh, is your head hurting? Jay: A little but it's still early. Give me a sec. Kids ok? Will: Ok, we'll wait. And yes they're fine. Talk soon. Jay: Thx for understanding man. See you in a sec.
Just holding Erin close to me, I rubbed her back and then proceeded to kiss her forehead softly. "Thanks for coming up here." Erin agreed with me when I said that and just smiled at me. "It's no problem Jay. I know that you need me right now." I nodded and agreed with Erin when she said that. Going to kiss her forehead, I smiled because I was very comfortable. I then took a breath and just relaxed. This was exactly what I needed right now. "You feeling better Jay?" I agreed with Erin when she asked me that. "Yeah, I'm feeling better. Still, I just need rest right now."
Erin then took a breath and agreed with me. "Jay, if I ask you a question...do you promise to be honest with me?" I nodded and agreed with her, looking down at her. "Hey, of course I do." Erin agreed with me when Is aid that. "Jay, do you feel like you're overworking?" I sighed when Erin asked me that because I wasn't sure. "I'm not sure to tell you the truth. I just know that I need to work so that Hank doesn't go in. We need to keep him away from the office to keep him safe. But I feel like just recently...I've been working longer and longer hours. And I hate it honestly."
Erin took a breath when I said that before laying her head down on my shoulder again. "Jay, I don't remember the last time that you really took a break." That's when I felt Rex jump onto the bed with us. Getting close to me, Rex smiled as he came to cuddle up to me. Going to put my hand on his head, I smiled as I just took a few breaths while relaxing. Erin then went to put her hand on my cheek and just smiled as she turned her head. Leaning in, she went to kiss me and smiled as we took it slow with each other. Moving my hand to Erin's arm, I rubbed it.
Breaking the kiss, I smiled as I turned my head and then went to kiss her neck softly as a way to please her. This was exactly what I needed right now. I just needed to hold Erin in my arms for a bit and relax. Cuddling up to me, Erin smiled because she was very comfortable with me. "Do you want to go downstairs now or do you need another minute?" I sighed when Erin asked me that. "I think that we need to. Unfortunately, that means you have to put your shirt on." I laughed and agreed with Erin when she told me that. "Don't worry, it can come off later."
Erin agreed with me when I said that as she went to get up for me. Going to get up, I smiled as I went to go grab my shirt that was at the end of the bed. Walking over to it, I went to pick it up and just smiled as I tugged it over my head. I then saw Erin smirk and I knew exactly why. "You like it when I wear tight shirts don't you?" Erin laughed and agreed with me when I asked her that. "Of course I do. It shows off my amazing husband's muscular body." That's when I went to flex for her and just smiled when I heard Erin laugh at me. "God, you are so adorable."

Going to walk over to her, I just smiled as I went to wrap my arms around her. Going to put my hands on her stomach, I smiled and just looked into Erin's eyes. Leaning in, I went to kiss her and just smiled as I took it slow with her. "I love you." Erin smiled and agreed with me when I said that. "I love you too" Going to put my hand on Erin's neck, I smiled as I brought her close to me and just held her close.
"Okay, enough Jay. It's time for us to go downstairs to your brother and Hank." I agreed with her and smiled when she told me that. Going to grab her hand, I went to intertwine our fingers and smiled as we both made our way out of our room to go down to see our families. "Let's go Rex!" Rex agreed with me and jumped down. "Just to let you know, I don't care if your dad is holding Emma downstairs...I want some cuddle time with my baby girl right now." Erin laughed and agreed with me when I said that. "Speaking of my dad, we need to talk about him." I nodded and agreed. "What's up?" Erin then bit her lip. "What would you think about him moving in?"
