The next day, King got up to go have a shower. As he got to his bathroom, he heard the shower running. Already with a guess in mind of who it could be, he knocked on the door and then Leah responded, that confirming his suspicion. He sighs and places his hand on his eyes.

"Leah" King called.

"yes?" Leah answered.

"can you explain to me why you are in my bathroom?"

"because the hot water in mine is not working".

"it's the guest bathroom for a reason. It's not supposed to have everything the masters has".

"is it not supposed to be the other way round? Aren't you supposed to treat your guest better?"

"Leah?".

"hm?"

"I'm going to count to five and if you are not out of my bathroom by then I will come in there and bring you out myself, whether you have soap or slime on your body. Or even clothes. Just comot for there. One".

"you wouldn't dare".

"four and half".

"okay, okay. I'm coming" Leah said. After some seconds she comes out of the bathroom, with her towel on. King just looks at her angrily and then brushes past her into the bathroom).

"it's too early to be grouchy" she mutters and leaves.

"which kind wahala be this? All this one for early mor-mor like this. King what have you gotten yourself into" King said from inside the bathroom. He should have never let T convince him to take her with him, he thought. But on the other he considered that this was actually his fault, he should have not helped her in the first place. Especially with her attitude at the beginning.

After King was done with his bath, he dressed up and went to the kitchen, he was famished as it was and could make do with whatever was in there, but when he got there he saw Leah cooking. Completely surprised and shocked as to what she was planning on doing in the kitchen, he decided to keep his thoughts to him and watch to find out. He goes to take a seat around the table in the kitchen.

"I hope you know that if you burn down the yacht, we will both drown... well you, because I know how to swim" King said, not being able to resist the urge to say it.

"l-o-l" Leah said sarcastically. "I'm not going to burn down the yacht. I know one or two about cooking. And I do know how to swim too, so jokes on you... okay, food is ready this is just a thank you and an apology" she said and dropped a plate of food in front of him and one for herself as she sat on the other seat.

"what is this supposed to be?" King asked as he couldn't tell what was in the plate, and if that's what she intended to cook or a mistake.

"pasta and egg sauce. I even wanted to make some pancakes on the side, but since you are here, we can start with this. I thought you said you know everything" Leah answered.

"I never said so. But I know this does not look right" King said and took a spoon of the food and immediately cringed and spat the food out. "and you are right, this is an apology" he added as he stood up to go throw the food away.

"it can't be that bad" Leah says then tastes takes a spoon from the food and then spits it out too. "okay it is".

"I don't know what they taught you in Princess school, but they at least told you to taste the food" King.

"you seem to be having a lot of jokes this morning. What are you doing?" she asked as she saw King standing at the cooking area.

"trying to get a proper meal done".

"oh, thank God. I thought we were going to starve to death, given that my cooking is terrible. When you're done let me know".

"shey you dey mad ni? I be your maid? . You must be highly delusional if you think I'm cooking for you. If you want food to enter that stomach of yours, come put hand for this thing wey I dey do" King says, sounding a clear warning to her that no helping out, not eating.

Leah stands up and walks over to where he is standing and joins him in cooking. When the food is ready, King dishes it out and they both seat at the table eating.

"this is really good" Leah said.

"so you know what good food tastes like, I wouldn't have guessed" King said.

"shut up. People make mistakes. Mine is just a natural occurrence".

"owning up to your mistakes, your mother would be proud".

"she is. So for real, this is yours?" Leah asked, still not believing that King owned the yacht. Where could he have possibly gotten the money from.

"in how many languages do I have to speak it. temi ni eyi, Kore wa watashi no monodesu, c'est à moi. This is mine" King said in 3 different languages, surprising Leah.

"wow! How many languages do you speak?"

"6, minus English and Yoruba".

"so what are the remaining four..." she asked and waited for a response but there was no response from King. "okay, fair. So why did you give that man money if this is yours, wasn't that a bribe?" she asked.

"look you have to understand that not everything is a plot. Not everyone in black and red is in a cult. I gave the man money for his family, simple. I don't do bribes" King replied.

"what do you do?" Leah asked.

"I take. I don't bribe you to give me what I want, I tell you what I want and you do it. Period".

"thug".

"stop calling me that. See thugs are those area boys on the street. The ones that stop you on the road and collect ten-ten naira, five naira. I don't do that. I do organized crime, that's what King's do".

"what exactly do you deal in, in organized crime?" Leah asked but King ignored her. Silence filled the room till seconds later when King speaks up.

"silk".

"huh?" Leah asked confused as to what that meant.

"silk. You can't come seduce a man wearing corporate shirt and trousers" King said.

"oh, about last night. I wasn't in corporate shirt and trousers, only shirt. And isn't that shirt thing supposed to be cute, wearing an oversized man shirt?".

"that's for people that have seen what's underneath, not someone you are getting to see underneath".

"oh, so you are saying that you would have if I was wearing silk".

"I'm saying it was a terrible idea. Don't ever do it again" King said as he stood up and took his plate to the sink.

"so silk is the answer. All I needed was silk" Leah said, thinking out loud.

"just shut up and don't get any ideas in your head" King said as he was leaving the kitchen

"too late. Um, how silky should the silk be?" Leah asked.

King chuckles as he enters his room. "I guess she's not that bad" he thought as he brought out his phone and began to attend to business.
