After That Night:(jakehoon)

Chapter 9

Sunghoon picked up Jake and decided to have a dinner in a fancy restaurant. Jake refused first because he said that it's too much expensive but the taller insisted.

Sunghoon parked his car and opened the door  for Jake. And that simple gesture make Jake heart flutter. When they enter the restaurant, the waiter guided them to the VIP room. When they already entered, they patiently waited for the food to arrive.

"I told you, it's too much for a dinner"
Jake talked as he scan the whole place.

"No,it's fine besides it's our first dinner together"Sunghoon as he extend his hand to reach for Jakey and smiled. The food have arrived and they have eated. No one was talking so Sunghoon decided to break the loud silence.

"Jakey, I have something to tell you"Sunghoon said as he dropped his utensils and wipe his mouth. "Hmm, what is it?"Jake asked curiously. He noticed that it might be important.

"I will go to Japan for a meeting, would you like to come with me?"

Jake was taken aback by Sunghoon's question. They only have met days ago and now the taller is asking him to go with him in Japan, aren't they taking it too fast?

When Sunghoon noticed the long silence from Jake, he called it again and  Jake have snapped out from his thoughts.

"Ah yes?" Jake asked. "Are you coming with me or not?" Sunghoon said as he stares on the other.
"A-ah, do you think it is necessary for me to be there? I have a work here and I have nothing to do in Japan anyway"
Jake answered and Sunghoon seemed not to like what he just said.

"You don't like to come with me?" Sunghoon said and sighed. "No it's not like that, I just think that I have a work here and I am not doing anything there" Jake explained. He was worried and he can sense that Sunghoon is mad with him so he tried to talk again but he was interrupted.

"Sunghoon, I-"Sunghoon cut him off. "No, just don't talk I get it you don't like to be with me is it because you like someone else now huh?" Jake couldn't believe Sunghoon. Why can't he just go without me?It's not like he will die or whatever. Jake took a deep breath.
"What are you talking about?I already explained it to you. And what if I like someone, I am totally single so I can like whoever I want" Jake said as he dropped his utensils.

"Hahaha,you're unbelievable! We fucked and kissed and yet you still think we're not a thing??"Sunghoon looked at  Jake in his cold stares. Jake was mad right now,he thinks that Sunghoon is crazy. He stand up and throw the napkin on the table

"The fuck are you talking about? It's just a fucking sex! Don't make it look like I have like you since you have insert yours in mine!Look I'm leaving don't fucking see me anymore" Jake said as he walked out from the restaurant. Sunghoon sighed and massage his temple.

Meanwhile, Jake already got home as he throw  his body to the bed. He pulled his hair in frustation. He just realized that he have said too much. He felt sorry for saying those words. This is not really him. He was just frustated that he keeps on seeing Sunghoon bugging him and he knows that it will lead into something that he  will surely be hurt if  the taller is just playing with him.

It's been two hours and Jake haven't sleep yet. His conscience keep on preventing him from sleeping. Letting out a sigh,He decided to grab his phone and typed a apology to Sunghoon . "I'm sorry about earlier Sir, I was totally thinking not right, about your offer, I'll think about it and promise to give you an answer before you go" he throw his phone on his side and slump his body on the bed.

Sunghoon have recieved the text and he understand why Jake acted like that. The message the latter sent him was enough. He immediately replied to the text. "It's fine baby, I'm sorry too about being a jerk earlier. I hope I could get a yes as an answer. Goodnight".

The next day, Sunghoon was only in his office because of the piled paperworks on his table. He called his  secretary to get him some coffee.

He wasn't able to see Jake because of the works his dad have given to him. He knows that his dad is preparing him to take over the company that is why he always give him a bunch of paperworks to do.

He was busy scanning the papers when someone knocked the door.
"Come in", he didn't even bother to look who is knocking.

Jake was walking down the stairs when he bumped into Jida, he was holding a tons of paper.  The latter iniated to help his co worker and took half of the papers on Jida's hands.

"Why are you holding such a bunch of papers?" he asked as they were on their way to the elevator.

Jida sighed. " It's for Mr. Park, his father told me to give all of this to him for him to work on. Mr. Park have been in the office since this morning. I bet he didn't even have the time to eat lunch because of this".

Jake didn't say a word. He can't understand but he have felt something against his chest. He was still sorry about what he have said and they haven't talked about the matter.  He was daydreaming and came back to reality when Jida knocked on the door. He exhaled when he heard Sunghoon's voice. The latter entered the room, he looked at Sunghoon's tired face. He felt pity for his boss. He must've been working all night. Jake snapped when Jida called her to put the papers on the table. Sunghoon kept looking at him.

"We will go now Sir" Jida said as he grabbed Jake out of the office.

"Hey! Tell me what's happening" the woman clinged into Jake's arm.
"Why is Mr. Park looking at you like that?"  she asked while having a confused look on his face.

"What look? You're hallucinating Jida" Jake said. He acted normal so Jida won't ask anymore. Jida didn't seem to believe him. He decided to just change the topic.

"Btw Jida, are you on break now?" he asked.
"Oh yes, it's almost lunch" the girl said while yawning.

"Do you want to have some coffee? There's a good coffee shop nearby! My treat! " Jake said.

"Really?? Let's go! You're the best Jakeyy, that's why everyone loves you here!" Jida said and hugged Jake.

Jake smiled. He was relieved that Jida didn't ask further about his relationship with Sunghoon because he is also confused what is going on between them.
