I felt odd (in a good way) as a tall, handsome ginger walked into the coffee shop as I was wiping down the counter. He walks up to the counter and ordered a sweet ice tea. As I walked over to him to give him his drink, I tripped and dropped It. He quickly turned around and kneeled down to help me up.
"Are you ok?" he asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine" I replied.
He looked into my deep blue eyes and said "wow .. You have really pretty eyes"
I replied " thanks no one has ever told me that before"
Then he asked "what's your name?"
I replied "Amber "
He replied " That's beautiful ... My name is Travis "
Then I said "I've got to go, my shift is almost over."
He said "Ok ... wait can I have your number?"
Then I replied "Ok...Here I'll write it on your hand
Then he gave me his number. He left, I locked up the shop, and walked home with butterflies in my tummy.
Next day
When I woke up, the first thing I did was skype my best friends, future Mrs. Panye and Mrs. Horan. I'm so happy for them, and their rings are so pretty. Trinity's (Mrs. Payne) has two hearts and 30 diamonds on it. Anne's (Mrs. Horan) is a Finding Nemo ring pop. Anyways, I told them about it and they both said that it sounds like love at first sight. Then I asked them what I should do, they both said that I should call him and talk to him, So I did. Travis and I talked for about 2-3 hours on the phone, then right as I was about to hang up, Travis said
"Amber...tomorrow would you like to go out to dinner and a walk on the beach with me?"
My heart EXPLODED out of my chest. I replied
"I would love to, what time?"
He said "Six-thirty."
I said "Ok see you then, bye"
He also said bye, and that night I couldn't sleep until 2:45 AM.
