- Excuse me for freaking out I only thought you were dead?!!
- Well I'm not, now, calm down and meet me at our spot in thirty minutes.
- But-
- There's no time for this right now I gotta go!!
- So seven thirty?
- Yup! Also no one should know I'm here!!
His voice resonated through the hall as he ran towards the elevator.
He was alive.

And now your probably wondering what lead to this situation. Don't you worry, you'll find out soon enough.

My heart was beating, like a thousand miles a minute. Reagan was back, he wasn't dead!!
I checked my watch, seven o five.
I texted my mother, telling her I was eating out with a friend tonight. Little did she know it was Reagan. My best friend Reagan. The Reagan that had disappeared three months prior and was declared dead. The Reagan who's funeral I attended a few weeks back.

Suddenly, it felt weird saying his name that I've had so much trouble trying to forget. It left a sour aftertaste in my mouth. Reagan. Reagan Domhall.
I remember the numerous sleepless nights wondering where the fuck he could've gone, the what felt like thousands days I spent looking for him in the forest, near the border, swearing at leaves that I thought were his shirt or his cap, how I cried at his funeral still hoping he would show up at any moment.

He had put me through so much pain, and there he was, jumping through my window, telling me to meet him in half an hour to do I don't know what. Couldn't he have called? Texted? Sent a fricking letter or a sign somehow? Anything?

Me thinking after his funeral I'd finally be able to move on, for it to be the end off my sufferings, I thought I could finally try and let go.

I was mad, so mad at him. Maybe I should be happy? That he's not in fact dead? All these emotions kept rushing through me, and I was so confused.
On top of all this, he didn't want me telling anyone he was here. Why? None of this made any sort of sens?!!

*** Reagan's POV
I had been staring at him for a few minutes now. William was working on something, probably math as I wondered how I should reintroduce myself. I hadn't seen him in three months. In fact I hadn't seen anyone in three months. I was...well it's complicated, you'll get it later.
I took a deep breath. Here we fucking go. I slid on my side a little lower on the roof so I was facing his window. I knocked five times, then two other times.
This was our way to signal each other's presence.
Will jumped of his chair and looked me in my eyes. His jaw dropped. He rushed to the window and unlocked it.
- I thought you always let it open, I said jokingly.
- ...Reagan!?? OMG REAGAN, he shouted and rushed towards me as I closed the window.
- Hey big guy!! Missed you too!!
He hugged me tight and stepped back.
- How are you... why are you? where?
- Hey hey calm down take a deep breath, I tried to reassure him but he looked like he just survived a nuclear bomb attack.
The rest you already know how it goes :
- Excuse me for freaking out I only thought you were dead?!!
- Well I'm not, now, calm down and meet me at our spot in thirty minutes.
- But-
- There's no time for this right now I gotta go!!
- So seven thirty?
- Yup! Also no one should know I'm here!!
I rushed through the hall running to the elevator. I heard his door shut closed. The ding of the elevator made me realize I hadn't been breathing this whole time. I stepped in, still feeling the adrenaline rushing through my body.
I was back, and Will knew it.
