CHAPTER 14

HIM

"Kanina pa tayo tinatawag ni Jupiter hoi, isa sa inyo mag answer kaya, mamaya mahalata niya eh." Senia said, she was arguing with Andy as we were getting the cake.

"We're almost there, so don't worry about it."

This is beginning to become a disastrous plan already. Late na kami... it's not like it was our fault, well– I'm just gonna say that a certain someone was late and paid a twenty, I'm not saying that the certain someone was Andy, but yeah siya nga.

Dapat nga one hundred pinabayad eh...

Oh well, at least Elias and Ari were there to distract him– well I hope so, ok the silver lining here is that I know Elias is distracting him.

We already got the huge awesome cake for Jun, so we got back to the car, and Tito drove us to Jun's house... I'm honestly sweating, I don't even know why I'm nervous, or maybe I'm just excited, surprising Jun. I always love seeing my friends reacting to surprises planned on their special day.

When we arrived, tinawag namin muna si Elias, asking him to blindfold Jun. We said our thanks to Tito and were about to go inside finally. As we got in, we saw Jun confused, he was sitting on a chair with the blindfold on.

We placed the cake on the table, and let Jun stand in front of it. Andy made a go signal and Ari popped the confetti, "Happy Birthday!" We all yelled, nakita ko napatalon siya doon kunti, making me chuckle.

He took off the blind fold, and the next thing I knew he was glaring at us, it seemed like he wanted to attack us, but Elias was holding his shoulder, which was a relief.

"Mga gago talaga kayo, kala ko pa naman kung ano nangyari sa inyo, hindi pa kayo sumasagot sa tawag ko."

"Hehe, sorry~ we got stuck at traffic eh."

"Yeah right..." I laughed at Ari's sarcastic tone as Andy said that.

"I'm just glad you guys are here... tara na, may konting handa ako niluto, sila Nick at Jax nasa kwarto, natulog ulit siguro... nakakain narin naman sila kanina ah."

"Wala si Tita?"

"Ah, she's at work... besides, alam niya naman dadating kayo." He said, smiling a bit as he went back to the kitchen, sumunod naman si Elias sakanya.

Napatingin ako kaila Senia, and they too seemed worried, but we then just went to help Jun with setting up the table.

After a few minutes, we all sat down and started to eat. I looked back at Alexa, na kinakausap si Senia, I wanted to join but... sometimes they can be scary if I disturb them... like the glare they give me.

"Ugh, I can't believe I'm eighteen." I heard Jun sigh, making me chuckle.

"Ok lang yan Jun, tanda mo na." Ari interrupted.

"Gago, in six months, ikaw na next noh!"

"Layo pa naman August, at least six months pa noh, ok lang yan talaga tanda."

"Gago ka."

"Pasalamat ka birthday mo kaya hindi mo kailangan mag bayad ng bente, kanina ka pa nagmumura."

"Don't worry Jun, you're not the only one..." Andy encouraged him like being another year older was great.

"True, ikaw kasi ang pinaka tanda saatin." Jun said laughing out loud.

"What the hell- I'm helping you here, and this is what you repay me with?"

"Joke lang hehe, kain nalang kaya tayo, pinaghirapan ko niluto yan kanina."
