"Riza!" Roy yelled. "Get this mutt off of me!"

I smiled down at him and Black Hayate. It was our day off and we were spending it together picnicking, Summer was rolling around and there were people everywhere enjoying the weather.

"Hayate!" I yelled. "You know better than that. Come here." He jumped onto my lap and Roy sat up on the blanket.

"What do you suppose we do about Jackson?" Roy asked as he grabbed an apple.

"What are you talking about?"

"You know, the boy at the flower shop." He smirked. "For some reason he thinks he can steal you away from me."

"Roy..." I playfully rolled my eyes. "You know we aren't together."

"No, but we should be." He winked at me and I looked away.

"Just shut up and eat your food." I chuckled and took a bite out of my sandwich.

"How many times do I have to take you out before I can finally call you mine?" He pouted out his bottom lip and I sighed.

"You don't have to anymore."

"Wait, what?"

"Yeah, that flower boy is available, right?" I bit my lip to keep from laughing at his unamused face.

"I don't find that very funny." He pouted.

I giggled and leaned into his shoulder. I like Roy, I really do but should our relationship be anything but professional?

I felt his arm wrap around my body and I felt relaxed. The calming sound of the birds and his company made me feel so at home. No work, no stress, just Roy.

We got done with our food and stared at the sunset together. It reflected over the clear lake water, really setting a romantic mood.

"It's getting a little late, I think we should get going." I yawned.

"Yeah, it's getting a little chilly, too." He nodded. "Do you want my jacket?"

"That'd be nice, thank you." I smiled. Roy placed it over my shoulders and hugged me from behind, making me feel all fuzzy inside. It's not so often that you see this sweet loving side of him.

We walked side by side down the road, a basket in his hand, Black Hayate's leash in mine.

"Do you think Edward's dating that Winry girl?" He asked.

"It seems like it, doesn't it? They'd be a cute couple but he doesn't seem to want that title as her boyfriend." My eyes met his and he chuckled.

"That seems to be my problem with you." He stared into my eyes intently.

We stopped in front of my apartment. "It's not that I don't want to be your girlfriend I just don't want it to interfere with our work and things like that."

"Riza," He tilted my chin up slightly. "You are a big distraction all on your own." He laughed. "It's hard to get any work done while there's something as beautiful as your face sitting in my office, I don't think this would change much."

I blushed and tried to hide my face but he caught my hand and held it in his own before he cupped my cheek and kissed me longingly, his lips were soft and gentle and his hand squeezed mine softly.

Roy pulled back and stared into Riza's eyes for a moment before handing her basket back. "I'll see you tomorrow." He said cooly.

"Don't you want your jacket?" She asked.

"Keep it for now." He smiled. "Have a nice night, beautiful."

A figure watching them from across the street thought to them self, I've found his weak spot. And ran off.

I smiled and managed to get out a "You too." before I went inside and sat down. How dare he? Not only do I constantly have Rebecca teasing me about how much of a womanizer he is but now I've fallen for him too.

I got ready for bed and made sure his jacket was wrapped around my body before I laid down. His cologne gives me that warm feeling he always does and I can't imagine what it would be like falling asleep with the real him, not just a jacket.
