(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

The bus to the training camp pulled over and I stepped out, stretching my legs.

"Why did we pull over? This doesn't seem like a rest stop." I asked our teacher but he was more focused on a black car that has just pulled up. Two woman stepped out of the car and immediately began some sort of chant.

"Coming out of nowhere,"

"Cute and cat like,"

"Wild Wild Pussycats!" Of course Midoriya got exited and started rambling,

"That's the Wild Wild Pussycats! Their a group of mountain rescuers and this is their twelfth year working as a team-" At this one small comment Pixie Bob ran over and shoved her paw into his face.

"I think you got it wrong I'm 18 at heart."

"So are you saying my memories of you working with my parents are wrong or..." Pixie gaped as I snickered and Denki gave a low whistle.

"I always forget how many pro heroes you know..." Before the situation could escalate Mandalay stepped in.

"Ok, so the training camp you'll be staying at is there at the base of the mountain. We're gonna give you, let's say three hours to get there." I immediately raised an eyebrow.

"I'm sorry, get there?"

"Yup! And kitties who don't make it there in time don't get lunch!"

"Everyone back to the bus!" The class began to run but then Pixie Bob activated her quirk and we were all thrown down into the forest below.

"I'd say this is retaliation for the age comment but it was clear they were planning this..." I groaned and pulled myself off the ground, looking around the woods. Mineta ran towards what he thought was a secluded area but that's when a dirt monster came out of the woods. Kota attempted to calm it and when that didn't work Midoriya hit it out of the way. Several more came through and were easily taken out by Bakugo, Todoroki, and Iida. I gritted my teeth, this was way out of my field of expertise.

"Hey (Y/n)!" Denki suddenly yelled, "Your the most observant and one of the faster ones here, remember that villain attack your mom and dad did where they lured the villain away?" I grinned, immediately knowing what he was talking about.

"Leave it to me Denki."

"Mom you didn't even do anything aren't you sad?"

"Oh I did something. Sometimes in order to be a hero you need to let someone else do the heavy work while you bring the villains to them."

It took way more than 3 hours.

I was covered in dirt and minor scrapes, Denki was in definite need of a recharge, and the rest of the class was feeling the after effects of their quirks in some way or another.

"Really? 3 hours?"

"That's how long it would have taken us!"

"Now your gloating!?" I deposited my friend on the ground and let him regain consciousness. I couldn't quite hear the conversation that lead up to it but Midoriya ended up with Pixie Bob's paw in his face again.

"I was just wondering who's kid that was..."

"Oh, he's my cousins kid. Kota come say hi to everyone." Mandalay called forward a kid, maybe 6 years old with black hair, a red hat with yellow horns, and a scowl Bakugo was probably proud of.

"Um hi, I'm Izuku Midoriya, I'm part of UA's hero course-" He barely got to finish his sentence before Kota punched him right in the balls. I winced, having seen Denki's reaction from when I'd accidentally knee him in the balls and Iida ran over to support his friend who was slowly falling over.

"You fiend of a child! A punch to the scrotum is unforgivable!"

"The last thing I want is to hang out with some wannabe heroes!"

"Wannabe? How old are you!?" I just watched Kota as he walked away, mildly in shock. Almost everyone I knew as a kid and now, even if they didn't want to be a hero respected them and often had one they looked up to.

Never before in my life had I heard from someone that wasn't a villain such open distaste towards heroes.

"Ah this is so relaxing!" Mina said and I grinned, sinking lower into the hot spring.

"This feels really good, especially knowing Mr Aizawa probably has something intense planned for us."

"Don't remind me..." I giggled and Mina gently splashed water at my face.

"Hey!"

"Don't laugh at my suffering! Also you don't have to do extra lessons." I groaned,

"I know... Denki's been complaining my ear off about them."

"Hey!" This time the protest came from the other side of the wall and I rolled my eyes.

"Don't deny it Pikachu!" I closed my eyes, hoping for a moment of silence but of course I wasn't going to get that.

"Walls are meant to be scaled!" I immediately ducked under the water and stayed there until Tsu tapped me on the shoulder and gave a thumbs up.

"It's ok, Mandalay stationed Kota up there kero. He got a bit flustered and fell but Midoriya caught him." I nodded and stood up,

"I think I'm gonna get out, see you girls soon." I headed back into the locker room and pulled on my pjs and sandals before making my way to the girls cabin.

The night was peaceful and I could hear crickets in the distance. From the looks of it Mr Aizawa and Vlad King were talking and I guess the Pussycats were in the main lodge, probably taking care of Kota. I grinned to myself and sighed, yeah things were about to get crazy, but I could enjoy the peace for now.
