Klaus - Daughter Picnic

Request from @the-big-bad-klaus on Tumblr. Klaus x Reader imagine where the reader, Klaus and Hope all go on a picnic. And the Reader tries to bond with Hope but she is very nervous so Klaus helps her to bond with Hope and they all have a great time together.

The sun shines bright in the blue sky as Klaus with his daughter Hope and I had planned for a picnic today. Which appears to be the perfect weather with no a lot of wind and clear blue sky as we sat down the blanket and basket on a green hill. Hope is a teenager now so I don't know how to bond with her that well. Klaus and I started dating when he came to Mystic Falls trying to mess with my best friend Caroline. Somehow we ended up together but he left me a letter saying if I wanted to keep going with our relationship to come to New Orleans and that's exactly what I did.

For most of the day we all ate in silence just letting the sounds of nature do the talking for us. Klaus is laying on his stomach staring at me as I lay on my side with Hope just sitting on her butt. Ever since I met Hope we've never had a good connection. She is closed off like her father most likely because she doesn't want to get her feelings hurt. Picking up a sandwich I started eating until my boyfriend spoke towards his daughter smirking my direction which I knew was never a good sign. "You know something little wolf. Y/n loves being tickled." Dropping my sandwich I try scooting away from him but started tickling my feet where I burst out in giggles.

"Klaus stop - please!" I couldn't stop laughing when he crawls over ontop of me. He stopped for a few seconds smirking still before Hope came up tickling my feet as he messed with my hips. Glancing around his head I saw Hope smiling but I grabbed Klaus by his shirt rolling him onto his back. "The thing is little Hope you're daddy is the same way." I smirk tickling his hips making him squirm and Hope started laughing. She suddenly jumped ontop of my back making me fall ontop of her father's chest. I blushed realizing my lips had crashed onto his. We usually don't kiss when we're around her because it weirds her out.

Hope climbed off smiling as Klaus and I just stared into each other's eyes. "We'll I guess we found a way to bond with her." Klaus chuckled and I hit his chest harshly after he leans up whispering in my ear. "I wouldn't mind picking this up later tonight love." Seconds later I felt some potato chip bounce off my nose. And more followed until we saw it was Hope starting a food fight. So in result Klaus and I picked up some food throwing it at her. The young Mikaelson girl mirrors her father's smile. At the end of the night we all ended up watching the sunset together with chips in our hair and grins on our faces.
