"You have it all wrong sir." Midoriya said panicked.
"Do I?" I asked quirking my eyebrow at the boy. "Didn't I just say that you won't be able to lie to me? Tell me how I'm wrong. I'll listen. Then I'll tell you how I know I'm right."
"Young Midoriya," All Might shook his head changing back into his smaller form. "He's right. You won't be able to lie to him. Not only will his nose be able to pick up on it but the moment he used his quirk to heal you today, he would have been able to piece it together. Isn't that right Tyga?"
"From the way your cells react all the way to how your scent is almost identical. There is very little differentiating the two of you when you have your quirk activated. Now, if I didn't know better, the most logical conclusion I could come to would be that Midoriya is your son. However, I do know better and thus have to conclude that he somehow was able to obtain your quirk. There is no way that he could have forcibly taken it from you and from the way you treat him you clearly have a soft spot for the boy. Leaving the only other explaination. You, All Might, have some how given your quirk to Midoriya." I watched their reactions closely. Neither of them able to hide any thing. It seems I got it all right.
"I always said you were too smart sometimes. It's almost scary how smart you are." All Might sighed sitting at the foot of Midoriya's bed. "Ten months before the entrance exam is when I first met young Midoriya here. There was a sludge villain roaming the city and he happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time." I nod, vaguely remembering the story I saw on the news. "The villain was able to escape and I was nearly reaching my limit for the day. But as you know that doesn't matter to villains. He had taken another boy hostage. It was young Bakugo and though Midoriya had no quirk at the time he rushed in to try and save him while the pro's stood back. That kind of determination made me see something in him. I decided then that if he would train hard and he wanted it that I would pass my quirk to him. I was already coming here to find a successor."
Taking in all the information, I pinched the bridge of my nose between my fingers and closed my eyes. "I already knew that there was something special about your quirk. I knew from the first time I touched you. It was something more complex than what most people see. It was as if there were several quirks clashing with each other trying to form one cohesive super quirk. I noticed the slight similarities to when I helped a person who had two quirks. The difference being, the potency of the quirks. Compared to his gentle breeze of a quirk, yours is more like a violent hurricane." I opened my eyes and looked at him. "I don't need to know all of the details if you don't want to tell me. All I ask is you tell me the basics so I know how to help train Midoriya. In order to train him the way he needs to be trained and how I want to teach him, I need to know that much. Just be prepared for further questions concerning this in the future."
"Thanks Kai." All Might said standing and putting a hand onto my shoulder. "Only a few people know the nature of my quirk but I know you're one I can trust to keep it secret."
