There they were, sitting in Y/n's bedroom, silence filling the room. A painful silence. Ever since they walked in on Jungkook's dad trying to end himself, Jungkook has been quiet and distant.

Jungkook was standing by the window, looking out at the street, a cigarette in between his fingers, blowing out smoke every few seconds.

Y/n was sitting on the bed, watching him, her features saddening. This guy has been through a lot, and she has no idea how he gets up everyday and deals with it.

She has no idea how he smiles and is able to be in a relationship. Or go out almost every night with his friends, breaking rules. His dark life was probably the reason why he started rebelling.

He seemed to be getting better before he walked in on his dad trying to off himself. He seemed to smile more, and break out of his lonely shell. Y/n was fixing him, without her even knowing.

Y/n just wanted to be there for him, all the time. But she was starting to think that he was slowly pushing her away from him and she hated that.

"Jungkook.." She muttered out hesitantly, afraid that he might ignore her and make her feel like an idiot for even trying to speak.

Jungkook had only sighed, finishing his cigarette before throwing it out the window, closing it afterwards.

"Hm?" He hummed in response, walking over to the duffle bag that was still left unpacked.

He began to put the rest of his clothes away, feeling frustrated at the moment. He was angry, stressed and pissed. His life was supposed to be getting better, but now it has crashed down yet again.

"Are you oka-"

"No. Don't ask me that, because I'll have to lie." He spoke, cutting her off before she was even able to finish her question.

She stayed silent.

"I don't want you to see my angry side,
Y/n. I'm a dick when I'm mad." He said, not even looking at her, still packing away his things.

But the thing was, she wanted to. She wanted to see all of his different emotions and sides. She's seen his happy, his sad..she wanted to see the rest.

"Jungkook..I'm your girlfriend..you can be honest with me. You don't need to be fake." She reminded, Jungkook scoffing slightly.

"Yeah, you're my girlfriend, but some things in my life just need to be for me and me only." He said coldly, not meaning for it to come off in a rude way, but it just did.

She couldn't blame him for acting this way. She would too if were happening to her.

"We don't have to go with the others today.." She spoke, referring to the others. They had planned to go to the museum, and hide when they began to close, so they could stay after hours.

"I need the distraction."

He zipped up his duffle bag, throwing it in the corner of the room, done with putting his things away.

"Plus, I want to go. I'm not going to let my personal problems stop me." He added, sitting himself upon the bed, reaching inside his pocket for his phone.

He dialed Jimin's number. After a few rings, he picked up.

"Hey.." Jungkook spoke quietly.

"Hey, is your dad alright?" Jimin asked from the other line.
