PROLOGUE
"Happy New Year dude!"
It all started with this. I wonder how you got under my skin because I keep telling everyone that we're never gonna be like the first time we met, but everytime you come back.. I always break down.
I guess, I really love you. Love you enough to act like a stupid.
I may be smart enough to have high marks at school, to have a lot of achievements in life.. But I wonder why I feel like a fool when it comes to what they call.. LOVE.
We met last summer. It was a hot and sunny day in Paris, wow the city of love. I remember everything clearly as if it happened yesterday.
I wore a flowerish green dress, high heels and I merely look presentable due to my beautiful and noticeable eyebags. We were at this huge hotel near the Tour Eiffel for our common friends' wedding, Mary and Ron. I was about to congratulate the newly wed when someone called me to take a pic of you and that person. That's when you asked me "You're Elle Young?" And I looked at you..confused at first, but then I remembered that it was my name on Facebook so I just nodded and automatically asked "And you are.. ehm.. JR Smith, right?". You replied saying "Call me Jack 'cause JR stands for Jack Rey" while smiling and then i told you "Encantada" instead of "Enchanté". After our small conversation we took a picture, our first picture.
At the end of the wedding reception , we went to our seperate ways with a goodbye.
I never thought I'd talk to you ever again.. In fact, I completely forgot about you til the first of January of this year when I saw you online and then I greeted you "Happy New Year dude!"
