THE COBRA KAI GIRLS WENT TO THE CONVENIENCE store right after practice, taking their new recruit, Tory, with them. They were here to grab a few snacks, while Milena waited for her Uber.

Aisha's phone rang, and she groaned in annoyance.

"Let me guess. Dick pic?" Tory asked jokingly.

Kimberly looked over Aisha's shoulder, reading the contact name. "Nope."

Aisha sighed. "My mom wants me to go to the beach club with her."

"Oh, mine too," Milena said.

"Same. Guess today's a great day for the beach," Kimberly grinned.

Adrian looked over at the girls from a slight distance, feeling left out. Her mom never asked her to go anywhere with her. She stayed in the house all day, and could barely even keep a job or run an errand on time. She'd kill for their lives.

"Oh my god, that sounds so miserable," Tory said sarcastically, causing Adrian to chuckle.

"No, it's just... this girl Sam's probably gonna be there, and she and I are not on good terms," she explained to her. "Whatever. I'm Aisha by the way."

"Tory," she introduced herself once more, but it was more simple than the introduction she gave Miguel. That's how Kimberly knew her name already.

"This is Milena, and I'm Kimberly," she said with a small smile. She thought Tory was kinda cute, but didn't want to make a move so quickly.

"Hey, that's a cool bracelet," Aisha was referring to the spike bracelet on her wrist.

"Oh, this?" She raised her arm. "It's not just for show. Some creepy guy at the mall tried to grab me once, but I managed to block him and give him a gift he won't ever forget."

"Oh, wow," Aisha replied. "You seem like you already know how to kick ass pretty well."

"Yeah, what's the point of joining Cobra Kai?" Milena asked her, although it was a little hypocritical of her.

"I've had a couple kickboxing lessons, but I've always wanted to smash boards blindfolded." she grinned.

"Cool," Milena said, smiling. "I used to take other fighting lessons too. Jiu-jitsu, a little tae kwon do, and I had a small amateur wrestling era."

"Nice," Tory nodded, before going to another aisle.

"Hey," Aisha grabbed her attention as she walked past her. "You wouldn't wanna go to the beach with us, would you? You too, Adrian. The more backup, the merrier."

"Guess I could suffer through a day at the beach," Tory smiled, before looking at Adrian.

"Yeah, why not?" Adrian agreed with her.

Milena, after Ubering home, went to the Oaks on the Beach Country Club with her family, now sporting a bikini一 and shorts, because her mom wouldn't let her leave until she put them on. She wanted to wear her favorite pair, but she accidentally left them at Demetri's place. But then again, it was a perfect opportunity to wear all-black everything.
