Moments later...
"He may come in, get us some wine darling." Tyrion put his hand on my waist. My heart jumped. Robb sat down and took his coat off. He still smells the same. Even years apart, and I still remember his unforgettable man scent. I made sure my hair was in my face as I poured the sweet smelling red wine.
"So, before we discuss... any bread or mutton?" Tyrion asked.
"No. I want this over with quick and easy, Milord." Robb shook his head and drank out of the cup.
"So what are the terms that Joffery has to agree with?" Tyrion wondered.
"He doesn't bother in any of the the North's business, and keeps his nose out of my many dealings." Robb said.
"Ah, but you know how stubborn Joffery can be... and if he doesn't agree, I'm afraid the Lannisters and the Starks will be at war again..  And I do suspect he will not agree." Tyrion sighed.
I was so afraid of Robb noticing me, I was hoping for a miracle. Shae came in, and sat next to Tyrion rather abruptly. As Tyrion kissed her cheek, I ran out of the room before Robb could ask for another cup of wine.

Running down the long tedious corridor, I bumped into the one person that I feared would ruin me the most: Joffery Baratheon. "Watch where you're walking peasant!" He fell onto the ground in his long velvet robes. "You're Grace, I'm sorry I...never meant to do that." I looked away from his terribly ugly face. "Hmmm, I am guessing you're the one who needs to swear your loyalty to me." He pursed his lips.
"Yes, My name's Veronica--." I tried to be civil. "I do not care what your name is...You're a mere bastard, who knew, such a pretty face with a horrifying ugly name." Joffery got up fast and walked away.

I decided then, to go back to Lord Tyrion's room. Robb Stark just came out of the room, he looked rather mad. I tried to hide behind a plant but it was no use. He hasn't seen me in 5 years. A lot has changed.
"Good day to you milady." He looked at me with that familiar smile that made me weak in the knees. I tried to pluck up the courage to tell him I needed help, but he was gone before my stomach stopped the butterflies.
I knocked at the door of Tyrion's chambers and no one answered. "Hello?"
"Oh by the gods, you know how to suck a man's cock." I heard Tyrion say.
I heard moaning. Great. I decided to go down to the tailor. I wanted something else rather than these clothes.
I was in the sunny courtyard. Beautiful. I got a silver and black gown and matched it with a silver headpiece. Hopefully Tyrion and Shae were done. I was totally ignoring the fact that I was kidnapped from House Forrester.
A man came up to me, "Make sure you and Tyrion are ready for the Feast tonight, My lady." He bowed and kissed my hand. He was sweet yet hid his face from mine.

I snuck into the room, to find Shae in bed and Tyrion getting dressed. I covered my eyes and giggled.
"Lord Tyrion, we have a feast momentarily, I'm rather sorry for barging in." I smirk.
"You look rather dashing on this evening." He popped his collar.
"Why thank you, my lord." I did a curtsy. "Well, really I'd like to know why you left so abruptly before." We walked out into the main corridor.
"I knew Robb Stark since we were children, and I was shocked at his appearance." I explained and adjusted my headband. Tyrion nodded.
"And of course it might look wrong that I am in the South when I'm not very fond of it here, plus it would give Robb another reason to believe war is the only option." I described. "Very good point. But now you must swear loyality to King Joffery in the Main Hall, be as honorable as possible even if you don't mean a single word." He looked at me.

We arrived at the Hall and there was Joffery in the Iron Throne.
"Kneel and kiss Joffery's ring. And repeat this  "I will stay loyal to the King and only him by the old gods and the new." A squire described.

I kneeled and kissed his ring. " I will stay loyal to the king and only him by the old gods and the new."
"Rise." Joffery scoffed.
"Thank you, Your Grace." I scurried to my seat at the great table.
Before me lay fresh fruits and vegetables. Not to mention freshly cooked potatoes and bright red meat. With goblets of the finest red wine of the whole Seven Kingdoms. With a completely awkward array of guests. It was Tyrion, Cersei, Joffery, Jamie, Sansa, and I. I sat next to Tyrion. Across from us were Jamie and Sansa. At the head of the table was Joffery. And at the end of the table was Cersei. The question was why was I invited to the Royal Feast? To be questioned?
"So.. where in the North are you from, Veronica?" Jamie asked amongst the silence. "House Forrester of Wolfswood."
He nodded and went back to eating.
"So have you crawled into bed with my brother yet?" Cersei says while reaching for her special goblet of dark red wine.
Joffery snickered, "Who'd want to have sex with an Imp?"
I choked on my wine. "He's better looking than-" I rose from my seat.
"There, there. That's a battle not worth fighting... I should know, I've been fighting it all my life." Tyrion put his hand in front of my chest. I sat back down and took a deep breath. I downed my wine and poured some more. Cersei laughed quietly to herself.
"What are you laughing at?" My temper rose.
"I find it hilarious how you would stand up for some silly dwarf you've just met." She smiled sarcastically. Jamie had his sword readily available. Tyrion squeezed my hand.
Then I completely lost it. "You know, sure... I've just met Tyrion but he has more honor than you'll ever have in the rest of your life. I'm surprised you haven't fucked your own inbred son yet, you disgustingly ugly cunt."
Cersei clenched her fists. "Get out."
I looked at Joffery. "Excuse me, Your Grace." I got out of my chair and left the Hall with my wine goblet still in hand.
"Goodnight, by the gods...what a family we are." Tyrion got up and followed me.

When I got into Tyrion's room, I bursted into tears. Shae came up behind me, "What's the matter milady?" She rubbed my back.
Tyrion entered. "Leave us." He commanded. "But I was just--." Shae said.
" You heard what I said, Shae." He looked and sat beside me. She left the room silently.
"What you did was brave... utterly stupid but still brave, especially after swearing loyalty." He said light heartedly.
"How can she treat people like that... like this." I looked at him in despair.
"My lady... It's been like this... all my life. As soon as I left my mother's womb, no one wanted me." He comforted me while I had my head on his shoulder.
"The Lannisters don't deserve you, you're not like them." I got off the bed. "And you don't deserve to serve the Lannisters, that is why I'm sending you back to Wolfswood." He caressed my arm.
"You can't. Who knows what awaits me up there, the man... the figure who took me down here could still be there." I said frightened.
"Or here, I want you to be safe." He got up and shed his armor.
"I feel the most safe with you, my lord." I sat on a nearby chair. He gave me a gentle kiss on my forehead.
"If you say so." He put out his hand, I grabbed it and he laid me to rest on his giant bed. "Sleep my dearest." He slightly smirked.
"They aren't right about you, you're more of man than Jamie and Joffery combined. No matter how tall you are." I laughed with him. He climbed on the left side of the bed.
"Won't Shae get mad?" I said very worried. "We aren't making love, my little lady."
"I'm no lady." I reminded him.

Why must everyone address me as that? I have no royal claim to that title... that I know of. I would much rather be a beggar than a lady. So much weight is on their name. I like laying low. That's why the North was a nice place. But here, In the South,  everybody knows who you are. At least in King's Landing. Sleeping in the Red Keep, of course even the wenches knows who you are. The Hand of the King's handmaiden. Whew, that's a mouthful. Tyrion had his body next to mine. Close enough where I felt warmth. I couldn't fall asleep, I was scared that maybe, the man who took me was inside these walls. I kept tossing and turning, and I was afraid I'd wake up Tyrion so I went on the balcony.
It was a beautiful night. Full moon, light breeze and bright stars. No one in sight but a few guards in the courtyard whispering around a bonfire. You could hear the laughter and clanking of glasses below at the pub in the distance. I was tempted to go down and drink myself asleep. I ended up back in bed with Tyrion by the end of the night, and I ended up sleeping soundly. This would be one of the last nights I ever got a good rest.
