We ran through the house and burst out of the front door. Richie and I were holding onto Eddie, helping him. Stan ran way ahead of us and jumped off the porch. We stopped in our tracks when we saw a familiar lady in front of us. Eddie's mom was standing in front of her car angrily. She grabbed Eddie and pulled him away from us.

She pointed at each one of us. "You. You did this." She grabbed Eddie by the back of his neck and dragged him to her car. "You know how delicate he is."

"We were attacked M-M-Mrs. K." Bill stuttered, stepping forward.

"Don't!" she seethed. "Don't try and blame anyone else."

She pushed Eddie in the car and slammed the door. She dropped her keys and Beverly reached forwards. "Let me-"

"Step back!" she held her hand in front of Bev. She snatched her keys and put her face close. "I've heard of you Miss. Marsh.." she whispered. "I don't want a dirty girl like you touching my son." She looked at me. "I've heard of your drunk parents. And how you slept with that boy Henry Bowers. You dirty slut."

"Don't talk to her like that!" Richie yelled at her, surprising me.

"Richie shut it." I whispered.

Mrs. K glared at us and turned back to her car.

"Mrs. K I s-s-swear-" Bill started.

"NO! You are all monsters!" she screeched. "All of you. Eddie is done with you. Do you hear? DONE!" She got into her car. Eddie looked at us sadly. His gaze lingered on me. His eyes purely read help me. Mrs. K drove off. We watched sadly as the car disappeared from view.

"I can't believe she believes those rumor's that you slept with Bowers." Richie shook his head.

I shrugged and Beverly looked at me. "Welcome to the club."

Bill turned to us. "I saw the well. W-we know where it is and next time we'll be better prepared."

"NO!" Stanley cried. "No next time Bill! You're insane!"

"Why?" Bev said. "No one else is going to do anything."

"Eddie was nearly killed!" Richie exclaimed. He pointed at Ben. "And look at this motherfucker! He's a leaking hamburger helper!"

"We can't pretend it's going to go away." Beverly said angrily. "Ben you said it yourself, it comes back every 27 years."

"Fine!" Ben replied. "I'll be 40 and far away from here. I thought you said you wanted to get out of here too!"

"Because I want to run towards  something!" Bev replied. "Not away!"

"I'm sorry, who invited Molly Ringwald in the group?" asked Richie.

Beverly flipped him off.

"Richie...." Stanley started.

"At this point, we'd just all get killed!" I said, choking back a sob. "And it'll all have been for nothing."

"Y-you too October?" Bill said sadly.

"Bill, I love you to bits. And I miss Georgie so much. But we have to accept the fact that........it's over."

Bill stared at me.

"Let's face the facts!" Richie interrupted. "Real world. Georgie is dead! Stop trying to get us killed too."

Bill grabbed Richie. "Georgie is not dead!"

"Richie...." I warned.

The two boys stared at each other angrily.

"You couldn't save him," Richie said quietly. "But you can still save yourself." He started walking away, but Bill stopped him.

"No! T-t-take it back! You're scared and we all are but take it back!" Bill shoved Richie hard, sending him stumbling back.

Richie ran forwards and pushed him back. Bill punched Richie.

"Bill!" Beverly called.

"Richie!" I cried, as he fell on the ground and groaned.

Mike, Stanley and I pulled him up and held him back against Bill. "You're just a bunch of losers! Fuck off! You're going to get yourselves killed!"

"Richie stop!" Stanley cried.

Ben held Bill back and Beverly screamed "STOP!"

We looked at her.

"This is what it wants." She said. "It wants to divide us. We were all together when he hurt it, which is why we're still alive."

"Yeah?" Richie snarled, walking forwards and bumping Bill with his shoulder.

"Richie-" I started, but he rounded on me.

"Leave me the fuck alone!" he yelled. "I still hate you! I never liked you! The only reason I was trying to be nice was because you were being a big pussy not wanting to spend a night alone!"

"Well, you're just a fucking asshole!" I screamed.

He stalked to his bike and rode off.

Stanley, Mike and Ben followed, walking to their bikes. Tears sprang in my eyes. The other boys started riding away. But Stan waited, looking at me. I looked and Bill. "I'm sorry Bill." I went to my bike and rode off home with Stan.
