Detention

Sadie's POV
" You will be here for the next one and a half hour, and in that next hour and a half you will NOT talk AT ALL! You will do nothing except sit in your seat quietly! " Mr.Jason exclaimed. " And just because I leave sometimes don't think you can talk " he added.

I sighed then put my head down on my desk. I would have been here alone if I didn't say that. I should I have just kept quiet and left it. Sometimes I'm so stupid! Now Bella AND Leo are mad at me. There was a soft PING loud enough to be heard by me and Leo but not Mr.Jason.

While I slowly reached into my bag and grabbed my phone I stole a glance at Leo. He was also on his phone. Wow Mr.Jason must be an idiot to not notice. I put my head back on my desk and looked at my message.

Soph13: Hey you must be in detention right now
SadieAngelo: Yep
Soph13: Dave told me what happened in History
SadieAngelo: Oh that
Soph13: Listen Leo is a complete jerk to even say that! You were trying to help Bella and he is acting like this!
SadieAngelo: I guess so but I assumed that's why he was dating her I didn't know for sure
Soph13: So? Dating her out of pity is equally bad! He didn't even have feelings for her!
SadieAngelo: True but idk I just feel idk
Soph13: If Leo tries to talk to you dont say anything back okay?
SadieAngelo: Of course I wont! Oh i gtg might get caught i'll text u in a bit
Soph13: K bye
SadieAngelo: Bye

I shoved my phone in the desk the raised my head. Can Mr.Jason just leave already?!? Who is right? Leo or me? My phone pinged again. I slowly took it out and was in tears my when I read the text.

Leo99: Sadie look i'm so sorry for what I said to you in History. I regret everything. You were right I should have never dated Bella out of pity that was wrong. You were right. The reason I yelled at you was because i'm her boyfriend shouldn't I stand up for her? And I was also mad at myself for dating Bella for that reason and so I just snapped. I'm extremely sorry! I feel so bad for everything Sadie I really mean it.

I didn't look at Leo. I screenshotted the message and sent it to Sophie.

SadieAngelo: What should I say?!
Soph13: Crap idk
SadieAngelo: I'll just leave it
Soph13: k

" Ahem, I will be leaving for a little but I expect pin drop silence " Mr.Jason said then left the room. I put my phone on top of the desk and took out a notebook. I started to draw designs and patters of how I felt. My hand freely moved across the page.

" Sadie........ " Leo's said slowly. I ignored him.

" Sadie please say something " he pleaded.

" Sadie please at least listen " he said gently.

" What? " I replied coldy. I don't want to be so rude to him but the again he hurt me a lot.

" You read my text right? " I nodded.

" Sadie i'm so so sorry! I should have never yelled at you like that, and infront of everyone too! I feel so horrible! Sadie I know you wont forgive me but please let me explain everything thing. That day when you saw us kissing I didn't kiss her she kissed me. She came up to me and burst out crying then she said sorry for yelling at me at mall. I said it's okay the next thing you know she pulled me into a kiss " he explained.

Was all of that true? Did Bella actually do that?

" And I know I shouldn't have dated her because I felt bad for her! I dont know what to do Sadie! You are such a good friend and I don't want to lose you! " Leo added. Tears rolled down my cheecks.

" Leo I want to forgive, but I cant. I don't want to be hurt again, " I said in a shakey voice. I realized that even when Leo was yelling at me I still liked him even if it was just for a little. No matter what happens I still somehow have feelings for him.

" Oh my god Sadie! I didn't know I hurt you that much! Sadie please I swear I wont ever hurt you like that again! Sadie please! " he begged.

Should I trust what he is saying? Would he never hurt me like that again? Maybe he is telling the truth.........

" Leo I forgive you. What I did was wrong too I'm sorry " I said while looking straight into his eyes. His expression changed from upset and serious to happy and excited in a matter of seconds.

I felt warm arms wrap around me. Leo was hugging me?!? OMG LEO WAS HUGGING ME! I felt my face heat up but I didn't care. I returned the hug warmly. Leo let go and sat across from me grinning like an idiot. I smiled. He looked really cute.

" I'm so happy we are friends again! " he exclaimed. I felt like a hammer hit my heart. After everything that happened he still only thinks of me as a friend? I guess something will never change.

" Me too! " I said while putting on a fake smile.

Moments later the door slammed open. Mr.Jason looked around then stopped his eyes at Leo.

" What are you doing in that seat? "

" Oh um uh... "

" Extra half an hour for you " Mr.Jason spat.

" Wait Mr.Jason it wasn't Leo's fault! I told him to move here because I had to tell him something " I budded in.

Mr.Jason raised an eyebrow then said " Looks like you will join him for that extra half an hour ".

I sighed then rolled my eyes. For the time remaining Mr.Jason stayed in the room, but I didn't care because me and Leo were texting each other the whole time.

The 2 hours of detention FINALLY finished and we were aloud to go home. Well actually the detention was about 3 hours long because at the end Mr.Jason gave us an hour long lecture of getting along and following the rules.

Anyway, Leo offered to walk me home even though I live past his house. I gladly accepted the offer and we both walked to my house happily chatting and laughing.

When I got to my room I collapsed on my bed and texted Sophie.

SadieAngelo: Omg you will never guess what happened!
