Charlie had never been interested in books growing up, they were always too boring, too long, too much to read. But right now he's laying in his bed, reading the last pages of the book that Margot gave him. It had only been 3 days, and he was nearly finished, he could barely put the book down.

"Charlie." his mom knocked on the door before peaking her head in, she was in shock that her son that couldn't get through a 20 page book had gone through the book in only a matter of days. Charlie didn't respond, he was stuck in his own world.

His mom walked towards him, and patted him lightly on his shoulder and he finally looked up from the book. She smiled at him, had the new school really done that much of a good difference on him she wondered.

"Someone sent you this, I think her name is Margot." she handed him a letter, he quickly ripped up the envelope and read through it. His mother sat down on the side of his bed.

"Sorry, I wasn't at school today. I'm going to make it up to you, I promise. Meet me at the park, at 7 pm." the letter read, his mother looked at him like she had seen a ghost.

"Margot? I didn't know that you had friends." she smiled at him, he looked back at his mom. Yes he finally had friends or at least a friend.

"You should invite her over for dinner sometime, now go and have fun!" she sent him out of the door, the clock was nearly 7, he took his bike and rode it to the park. The leafs on the trees were starting to change colour. Some had even reached the ground. The wind tickled his face exactly like when he rode Margot's motorcycle just a lot less. There she was, she sat on a picnic blanket underneath a tree with completely orange leafs, it was the only one in the park that had turned that orange.

She wasn't alone though, a girl Charlie had never seen before sat there. She looked like she wouldn't be friends with Margot, her hair was well maintained, long and she even wore a dress. The dimples on her face showed as she smiled at Charlie.

Charlie hopped off his bike, and almost ran towards them. Margot clapped her hand on the ground, telling him to sit down and so he did. They all three sat on a pink and blue picnic blanket.

"This is Annalise, Charlie. Annalise, this is Charlie." she introduced them, Annalise was quick to shake Charlies hand, She actually looked quite a lot like Margot. Their facial structure was the same, they had the same big eyes with small lips. Charlie stared at them trying to figure out what the deal was.

"The winter fooormals is in almost two months so I was thinkiiing I would let you get to knooow each other." she winked, what was she trying to do Charlie wondered. Set him up with a girl he never met before? He was desperate but not that desperate.

"Oh you two chill!" Margot laughed, she thought the situation was funny, the way Charlie just stared at Annalise, trying to get her to say the first thing and Annalise just being completely in her own world.

"You're going with your boyfriend, Mag?" Annalise spoke, she sounded different than what you would expect, her voice wasn't soft rather harsh. Boyfriend? Charlie wondered, Margot had never mentioned a boyfriend. Never ever. Why wouldn't she?

"Don't knoow, he's still going to that posh school, I'm not sure that he woould want to go to oour winter formal." She said while looking down at her leg, Charlie could tell that she was embarrassed from the way her face blushed up and her ability to not keep eye contact which in most cases she was frankly good at.

"I have never had a boyfriend." Annalise turned her eyes to Charlie while smiling. Margot raised her eyebrows at her, before she started laughing. Her whole face turned red as she laughed.

"Never? That's a joooke! You have had more than me for sure!" Margot said while laughing so much she could barely speak. Annalise crossed her arms, and lowered her eyebrows before hitting Margot on the shoulder.

"Stop it Mag!" she pouted, Margot didn't, she couldn't! She laughed more and more, Annalise became so annoyed that she rolled her eyes before getting up. She crossed her arms one more time.

"Okay, I'm going to leave!" she lowered her eyebrows and walked away. Margot waved goodbye, and then looked at Charlie.

"Do you want to head to my boyfriend's place?" she said...
