Michael

I look at Calum who is looking out of the window of my living room and sighs. ''This is where you and Evelyn live huh?'' He turns around looking at me.

''Not for long though.'' I smile at him and grab a few things from the kitchen.

''You're wedding is in a week, shouldnt you be planning stuff.'' He says frowning.

''Nah.'' I chuckle looking through the cupboards. ''Its like no one lives in this apartment because theres no food in here, jesus.'' I complain and then realise that I havent been shopping in a month.

''Food for what?'' He asks. ''Where we going?''

''No where special.'' I say opening the fridge.

''Isnt Evelyn supposed to be home?'' Calum sits on the stool behind the work top.

''I am home.'' Evelyn walks into the kitchen making me startle and dropping the tub of butter.

''Evelyn!'' I say picking the tub up and sticking it on the side.

''What? Who is this?'' She eyes Calum making him feel uncomfortable.

''This is my best friend Calum.'' I say pulling her by the arm to stop her from looking at Calum.

''Hi.'' She grins and Calum half smiles shifting his weight to one side.

''What are you doing home anyways?'' I ask her and she frowns looking at me.

''I just need to go to the loo, I'll be right back.'' She walks off.

''She is going to cancel Travis coming here.'' I whisper to Cal and his eyes widen.

''I get why you stay out of the house.'' he nods.

''Yeah.'' I nod sighing and grabbing some bread and the jam jar.

''What do you do.. actually nevermind.'' He says and starts fiddling with his fingers.

''Hey..'' I put my hand over his and smile. ''We should get going.'' I smile and the sandwiches and put them in plastic bags and then in a carrier bag.

''Calum grabs his crutches and walks towards the door, I follow behind.

''Babe where you going?'' I stop in my pace when Evelyn's voice startles me again.

I turn around looking at her, she stands a few feet away from me wrapped in a towel. ''Out.'' I mumble.

''You're always out.'' she huffs. ''Never spending time with me.'' She groans walking over to us. ''Why not come home early and we can watch a movie together and you know.'' She grins wrapping her arm around my shoulders and facing Calum.

''Nah.'' I shake my head. ''I'm alright.'' I look at Calum who looks really serious about what I just said.

She frowns looking at both of us.''Excuse us a second.'' She smiles spinning me around and pulling me away from Calum. ''What? You what?'' She yell whispers.

''I actually have plans tonight but I'll be home later.'' I smile nodding.

''What plans? I'm your fiancee, Michael.'' She says.

''So?'' I say. ''I'm going to watch the game with Calum tonight, I could watch movies with you any night.'' I shrug.

''Just leave before you say anything to make this situation worse.'' She huffs looking at me.

''Alright.'' I shrug again and turn around.

''Michael!'' Evelyn says.

I sigh turning around. ''What Evelyn?''
