Aiden

I HAVE been meaning to visit my parents since I haven't seen them for like a year or two after I enrolled in Wisdom University and then when I was about to visit them, the pandemic showed itself.

But as a gift for my 18th Birthday, my Brother made preparations and all that jazz to have our parents attend my Birthday here in Caloocan, it was a well-received surprise and gift from my Brother.

Since yesterday was my Birthday August 22, it was another time of the year when it's the 23rd. This day shouldn't have existed but oh well, who am I to change the current calendar dates we're used to.

No matter how much I despise the 23rd I just have to endure this day for at the very least 18 hrs since It's still only 6 AM.

I wake up very early, as a matter of fact I am the only one who wakes up this early in our "Scholarly Dorm" for some unknown reasons. I never really cared much about when my neighbors would wake up.

After I checked on Bella, she was still sound asleep, well she needed that sleep anyway so I just let her be although it is a bit awkward since I am a guy and she's a girl. I-I don't mean that I want to do nasty things to her, it's just straight up awkward.

As soon as I was done with my morning routines as well as checking up on Bella, I quickly took a bath and made my morning tea. I placed my tea in my teacup and mixed it with my teaspoon.

Nothing beats a morning with a fresh tea made by yourself. I took a sip on my tea and picked up my phone to check if there's any messages in the group. None so far, I decided to go out after finishing my tea.

As soon as I opened the door, a familiar face showed up in front of me. It's none other than the person that made me hate the 23rd. . . . The School Paper Deliveries.

And as the name suggests they are the ones who delivers every school newspaper that are so boring to read. I was once woken up because the student they sent to deliver it rang the bell too much and it went on for months and today will be known as its 1 year Anniversary.

"Hello Aiden! It's only been a month but I missed you!" She said. "Whatever, Alicia. Does the CSD have no one available other than you? You're the only face I see every month for a whole year now delivering the school newspaper after all. This doesn't seem to be a coincidence as well." I said in a monotonous voice.

Yes, that's right! The school paper isn't the only thing I hate about this agenda by the Council of School Deliveries much known as the CSD, when students first heard it, they laughed so hard they never breathed again, kiddings aside they did laughed at it.
