Locked Away

Chapter 4

Ari's Pov:
Today is the day I get to meet my brother. I think his name is Lucas. I was so excited that I wore my favorite outfit. A fuchsia polka dot shirt with a green bow on it,a fuchsia bow in my hair, and a pair of grey skinny jeans. I couldn't wait to meet my half brother I bet he's really nice. Dad says he can be a real booger. I told him that I didn't care. I was about to walk next door. When I forgot the present I bought for Lucas. I hear he loves dirtbikes and sateboards,so I bought him a skateboard and had Tony Hawk sign it for me. I hope he likes it,because it cost $200. That means no new clothes for a week. 'This better be worth it' I told myself.
I threw on my Vans and ran out the door. I was just too excited to meet him. 'What if he doesn't like you?' my subconscious asked me. "Shut up!" I told myself before knocking on my brother's front door. As he opened the door his mouth fell wide open. I don't know if that's a good sign or not. Hopefully it was good. "Hi I'm Ari" I tild him cheerfully. Then he started to smirk."I'm Lucas."
