Kid’s POV
Hello, my name is Death the Kid , Kid for short. I am 15 years old and I will be forever. I am a shinigami; I stay one age for all of eternity. I get home-schooled by the private teacher my father hired, my father is Lord Death. He is both the principal of Death Weapon Meister Academy, DWMA for short, and the mayor of Death City. Death City is a magic-filled place with witches (Not the ones with the pointy hats. They look like normal human beings.), Keshins, Meister’s and Weapons (Soul’s are in solid form after someone dies in this). Keshins are evil human beings that were consumed by overwhelming urges that they get drowned in madness then turn into evil monsters that will eat other human’s souls. My father, the mayor of Death City, can be quite childish at times, but he can also be serious in situations that are quite serious. On the weekends, He lets me watch weapon (people who are both weapon and human) and meister’s (people who wield weapons) go on missions from the Death Room inside the DWMA. I, myself, am a meister. All shinigami’s are meister’s. I have two weapons, Elizabeth and Patrica Thompson. They are like my sisters so I call them Liz and Patty. They are both symmetrical!
My best friend is Scythe Meister Maka Albarn. She is also my crush; she is beautiful and smartest girl I have ever met. Her emerald eyes, her sun-kissed skin, her albarn hair….. It’s all completely beautiful. She is so very kind and gentle, yet she is tough and determined. She is completely perfect, But she has a boyfriend. His name is Soul “Eater” Evans. He is the coolest guy in school. He is also my bully. Maka won’t even talk to me because, I personally think, she is scared Soul will find out. I think he abuses her. She has bruises all over her body. She does not wear short-sleeved shirts anymore. She used to wear short-sleeved shirts all the time before she met Soul. I wish my Maka would come back to me; I miss her dearly.
