Charlie and Renee tried. They really did, although they never argued when I was in the room, at night, when they thought I was asleep, they would argue so much you'd think it was the end of the mortal world.

Though, when looking at it in Renee's point of view, she was young and being stuck in a down right boring town was hardly a dream com true. On the other hand, she was a mother, soon to be a mother of two, no offence but no wonder Bella was so grown up and could practically take care of herself when she came to forks.

Charlie, though oblivious to the fact that I wasn't his biological daughter, was at work the majority of the day, so that left me in Renee's care or fleeting presence. Renee would mainly be on the computer shopping, though as careless as she was, Renee wasn't dumb enough to leave me at home alone it seemed.

If anything, the quite was good as, after all if I was going to live in the timeline of a book, I was going to have at least a decent plan set in motion. Telling the young couple about my reincarnation was completely of the table, what was I going to say, "Oh sorry did I forget to mention, I was actually rebirthed as your daughter and got trapped inside a baby's body." No, that was not happening.

I never really liked Edward in the books or in the films and leaving Bella alone in the forest didn't help either but there was only so much you could do against the fates. Oh fate, why can you be so cruel. On top of that, I am a demigod who eventually will have to go to Camp Half-blood to be trained to stay alive against monsters while also hiding the demigod world from my soon to be sister. The biggest dilemma I have is, will I stay in Camp Half-blood while Bella goes to Forks or will I come with her? Argh, my head hurts just thinking about it.

Right at that moment Renee came into the room as she sometimes did and picked me up. "Katerina, you'll have a little sister to take care of in school sometime soon," she said gently while cradling me back and forth. These were the moments I loved Renee, when she just forgot about forks and just focused on being a mother. Suddenly, a black circle of smoke circling in my hand brought me out of my commentary. Renee seemed to have noticed as she looked at my hand stunned for a moment before she seemed to have remembered something. "Your father said you would have incredible gifts when you were born."

Phew, so Renee at least understood that I was a demigod or at least not completely human. That took one awkward conversation off my list. After a bit of singing of a lullaby and cuddles which I greedily accepted, Renee set me back down in my crib and left the room.

Apparently, I still had fully developed powers, which was going to be exactly what I needed to pull off sneaking away while Renee and Charlie weren't around while still pretending to be an innocent baby. Having the ability to teleport was truly a blessing. Though, sneaking off would have to wait in till I could possibly get away with being able to lock a door. I would have to start small, like first words and first steps to begin with. Until then, I couldn't risk it.

The Front door opened and in came Charlie, home from work. This was my chance, "Papa," I squealed. It had been six months and it was rare but not impossible for babies to start speaking at this age. As long as I kept it simple, I could get away with it. Charlie stopped dead in his tracks and turned to me. "Papa," I squealed again. This time Charlie quickly swept me up in his arms and called for Renee, "Renee, kat just said her first word." Okay, the nickname is new.

Renee came rushing in at that second. "Mama," I said trying to create a cute smile which wasn't hard, as I had cute chubby cheeks which Renee and Charlie would often pinch softly. "Aww, did somebody learn their first words," Renee asked sweetly, taking me from Charlies arms. I let out a final squeal as Renee pranced around the house with me in her arms. With Charlie trailing behind. I didn't want this to end but whether I liked it or not the fates would make sure Renee and Charlie got a divorce, the signs were already there.

As my bedtime drew nearer, I was laid back in my crib as the adults went off to sleep. With only the moon for company I went to bed a final thought in my head. Oh the chaos I was going to bring.
