Good morning - Draco

I wake up to Crabb and Goyle being obnoxious much to early yet again from another dream about (y/n). Why can't I stop thinking about you. I get dressed and head to breakfast with Crabb, Goyle, and Pansy like I normally do, but something is off, I look to (y/n)'s table and he isn't there. strange I think to myself he's always on time. I try to just eat and go about my business but when it's time to leave I can't help but notice he hasn't been there the whole time, so I wrap up a croissant for him and start heading for his common room but in the way I run straight into someone.

"Ok..." I pause, noticing (y/n) and his books strewn across the hall, "ow" I try to laugh it off as I help him gather his things. Handing him the croissant I smile trying to seem normal, our hands brush and I blush. He smiles back to me, that perfect smile that can light up any room. no, I don't look at him like that if I can't even tell him. As I leave him I yell back "three minutes to class" hoping he can't hear the smile in my voice.

I make it through my first few classes to lunch thinking about (y/n) the whole time. After class Goyle, Crabb, Pansy, and I head toward the great hall, seeing (y/n) on the way. As we catch up to him Goyle drops his hand onto (y/n) shoulder, I know that's a bad idea, he doesn't like Goyle, Crabb, or Pansy touching him in the least.

"We've talked about this Gregory, keep your paws off me" he says, rolling Goyles hand off his shoulder. He emphasizes his name and I tense a little, knowing what may come. I snicker still trying to cool myself but before I know it both of Crabb's hands are on his shoulders. All of my tension returns to my body stinger than before, and that's before Crabb opens his big mouth.

"Aww now what's wrong, did princess not get her beauty sleep?" He shakes him slightly and I know what's coming.

"I'd advise you leave me alone Vincent I've had a very long morning" the way he says his name make both me and him tense more than I was before. Let alone the fact he pulled his want on Crabb. We all know (y/n) isn't scared to get detention for putting someone in their place.

Crabb throws up his hands and backs up a little "Just trying to lighten the mood"

(Y/n) responds more angry than before "Yeah well it obviously didn't work" he speeds up a bit and starts trailing forward.

Pansy in a loud whisper, obviously meaning for only us to hear says  "I'm just shocked you put together a decent enough insult" but before I can respond (y/n) beats me to it.

"Shut your wretch little mouth Pansy" without even turning around.

I nod and start to speed up, not wanting to get caught up in their nonsense "Well you guys are in some shit so I'll be going now" when we get to our table I start eating and remember our hands brushing this morning. I blush so when I ask him how his breakfast was I don't look up.

"Good thank you, you're the only reason I had any" he laughs a little but it sounds forced. did I do something wrong? I shake it off

now is as good a time as any "Well good, hey I wanted to tell you somethi-" I start, then two out of the three school clowns sit down with us rather loudly. not again, I'm just trying to open up.
