Cora's pov As I see my parents just stare at me through the front door as I am waiting for the cab it felt horrible thanking i am not going to see my family for 2 years, and then the cab pulls up I wave bye to my family and then the get to far to see.At that point it was probably a hour or 2 after I left and then I got there so I thank the drive and get my bags and go knock on the front door but then Maddy opens the door and we burst into a hug because it's probably been 3 years since we have seen each other because my mom all ways thought Maddy was a bad influence.
As we got in to the house see should me my new room I got unpacked and we decided to watch a movie "just pick a movie we have been looking for like 10 minutes all ready" Maddy says so we picked "don't look up" after the movie we decided to go to sleep since tomorrow is a school day so maddy went to her room I went on Tiktok and after 30 minutes I went to sleep.
Morning
"Get uppp" Maddy says wall throwing a pillow at me, so then I get up get a shower and get dressed I wear

I go to the kitchen but then my aunt just glared at me since my mother had been very dramatic about me smoking weed my aunt was not pleased with me so I just got an apple and asked maddy "hey are you going to drive us to school?" "Yeah ofc I am do you think we are talking the bus" she laughs so we walk out side and get into her car "is there any were you can get a vape?" I ask "yeah just go down to fezcos shop" maddy says
School
Maddy parks the car and we say are good byes and we go to are classes as I am walking in the hall I see Rue she is one of my best Friends when I used to live here (cora and her family used to live here) And I have never been the best at school so me and Rue decide to skip class in the bathrooms so we can catch up I told her all about my family drama and she tells me hers and just spent all day talking.
