Cold rain pelted the window as Lidya sat her vanity. She dusted her cheeks with a light blush and applied a simple gloss to her lips. Tonight would a simple night for her, and her fiancee Gideon. He was leaving for a month on work matters, and Lidya didn't have the luxury of going with him. (Or the money.) Like her husband to-be, she also worked highly demanding job so she'd be stuck in N.Y.C while he was all the way over in London, her home town. There was a knock at her apartment door.

"In a moment!!" Hollered Lidya as she put her things away. She took one last look mirror before running over to the door and opening it. She smiled from ear to ear at the man before her. His clean-ish dark hair, blue eyes and their circles, the paleness of skin... Gideon was her never ending dream. He stepped inside before leaning down to kiss her while holding her close.
"So, ready for tonight?" Asked Gideon smiling just the same.
"...As I'll ever be" mumbled Lidya as she pulled away and went to the start the popcorn.
"C'mon Liddy, you're gonna love it," hinted Gideon.
"Oh I'm sure I will. Fighting with twigs is so entering," she grumbled, still smiling softly.
"They're called wands-"
"They're sticks that shoot glitter."
"Lidya."
"And I don't care what you say, there is absolutely no way the entire world just simultaneously deicide not speak about these magicians people. Even if magic was used, there's still that one snitch who didn't end up in ditch. And that snitch is bound to find other surviving snitches." The microwave beeped and Gideon sat on the sofa shaking his head. He knew Lidya, he knew she'd love this. And he was gonna love watching those gorgeous green eyes of hers get lost in the world of Harry Potter.

"You're such a sore loser," commented Gideon as Lidya came over with the popcorn, snuggling up right besides him. He kissed the top of her head and wrapped his arm around her waist.
"I won your heart," bragged Lidya, looking right at him with a triumphant grin. "Therefore, I've won everything."
"That you have," Agreed Gideon. Cupping her cheek, he placed another sweet kiss on her lips. For the both of them, knowing that this would be their life forever more, made them blush.
"However..," began Gideon, his forehead touching Lidya's, "I also won you're heart, and the bet on who would purpose first, so I'm pretty sure that means I've got one on you." Lidya rolled her eyes.
"Just start the damn movie." She whined while still blushing. She rested her head on his shoulder.
"As you wish, you're majesty."

The movie played and as Gideon expected, Lidya got drawn in. Soon she was asking question after question, of which all the answers where "shhh, keep watching." She hardly touched the popcorn, an odd thing for Lidya because she loved food. It of course it never stuck because she worked out whenever she could and walked like a fricking speed demon. In fact she was never completely still unless sleeping, but still, she loved food. And the fact that the popcorn was still around in first half of the movie showed just how into she was. Gideon himself had seen these movies twenty times or more, but he was still just as enchanted, but clearly not as much Lidya.

"Wait... So he's going back with his abusive relatives?" Asked Lidya, who was not okay with Harry going back to the Dursley's.
"Yeah."
"...Why can't he go with Ron or Hermione? Hell, I bet Professor McGonagall would take him."
"That's just how it is."
"But now Harry has to go back to that shack!"
"Actually, they have the house back."
"Oh thank God." A weight had been lifted off Lidya's shoulders as hearing that.
"So... Do you..."
"I'll toss some mozzarella sticks in the oven. You order the china food."
"On it." Gideon watched Lidya scurry over to her kitch and dig through freezer.
"I found some Bagel Bites, should I cook those too?" He loved her so damn much.
