Here is part 4. I'm hoping to have the next one out sooner.

Please note, I just write and post. No revisions. Enjoy.

Hailee Lance grew up with a father. Without knowing who her father was. She wanted to know him, but he wasn't around. Her mother tried her best, but she couldn't fill the empty spot. She knew she had him in her life for a year and a half, but then her mother took her and both left.

She looked at her mother, who was looking at a court case she was working on. Little Hailee walked towards her. "Hey, I thought I just put you to sleep."

"I dreamed about daddy," little Hailee said, and her mother just gave her a soft look.

"What about him?" Dinah Laurel Lance asked, picking the little girl up.

"Why did he leave?" Hailee questioned, and her mother tensed up. She looked at her daughter who was looking up at her with innocent eyes.

"He didn't want to leave us. It was just safest. And one day, when you're ready, I'll tell you all about him. But know, he loves you very much. You were his little girl, and you always will be."

Hailee snuggled up to her mother. Dinah kissed the top of her head and continued to work on her paperwork. The next time Hailee dreamt, it was a good one of her father, protecting her from the evil clown dolphins that haunted her dreams.

When Lauren came to, she was back in the room, but this time, she was left on the ground. She took a breath, wincing at the pain in her ribs. Everything hurt. When Lauren pushed herself up, it was when she realized her hands were free. Lauren used the wall to hold herself, her body screaming at her to stay down. She inhaled, fighting against the pain, and started to walk towards the door.

Lauren gripped the knob and turned it, letting out a breath when it turned under her hand. As quietly as she could, she opened the door. Peeking out of the door, she saw no one on either side of the hall.

She stumbled out, using the wall to hold herself up. She used the wall to walk down the hall, keeping an ear out for any footsteps. She just kept walking, knowing that the fact no one was stopping her was sketchy.

Lauren's side started to explode in pain, and she fell to her knees. She gripped her side, trying to breathe. She needed to find a way to get the team to find her. She had to.

Hailee walked into the monitor room. She found Ally and Camila in there, the latter asleep on the chair. Hailee looked at Ally, who gave her a half smile. "She stayed up all night trying to find Batgirl."

"We all see how much she means to Camila," Hailee said, looking at the monitor. She could see that it was scanning the city over and over again.

Ally gave her a half smile. "It's a lot of history. We weren't all a team for a long time, but we did bond, some more than others."

"We'll find her, I know we will," Hailee said, just as the monitor started to go off. Camila shot up and looked at the monitors.

Camila looked at Ally. "We found her."

Ally gave her a nod. "Let's suit up."

Once all the heroes were dressed, they looked at Aqua Girl. Supergirl was practically vibrating in place.

Aqua Girl stood in front of everyone, making the game plan. "We need to be ready for anything. The flyers-"

Green Lantern raised her hand. "I can use my ring to take the team."
