Staring didn't help but the flames were elegant, flickering to hotter colours, then being scared back to red. The pattern of the blaze was a rumour lacking consistency. The stories didn't match up, but all it does is continue to lick his skin. He can't decline Death's calls like everyone tells him to.

Fire is his lust for sanity. It betrayed him when the screams of 'I hate you' fuelled the fire to let his parents die. He can't resist this abusive relationship. It is the only thing to comfort him. The temptation of the combustion is too grand.

A monster, an atrocity, a freak, a savage, a villain is all he will ever be. He doesn't care. He lets the regrets be lost in his affair. He wasn't awful until he gave into the little voice in the back of his head that tells him 'everything's wrong'.

Nothing fits this pyro better than being encased in his pathetic addiction and stupid little self-pity part he has going on. His parents should've killed him but they were blinded by asininity and the ignorance of alienation. Their hope was strong but the truth was weak. Their boy shouldn't make it. He is revolting and useless. Not even Hell will accept this piece of shit.

This prince needs to be saved from the dragon. The immune system only cures the smell of metal slicing his skin. It doesn't ward off the ghosts whispering obscenities around him. He needs a new prescription, so you offer a trial.

Constantly, you are found watching in content horror. You are hysterical if he doesn't show up to school and numb on the weekends. Your anonymous concern would be relinquished in this new romance. Open up to the savoury silence and grab his searing hand. Let him be safe for a while longer.
