Prior Twilight Part two (Edited)

The fates got their way. After three months of threats, shouting and Charlie sleeping on the couch, the young couple got a divorce. My three, month old sister, Bella, seemed to all the world oblivious of the situation at hand as she tugged on my hair through the bars of the crib separating us absentmindedly.

Bella, was adorable. How couldn't she be, with her cute little smile and thick brown hair. Even in my past life I had always wanted a sister to play with, seeing as I had no other kids my age to play within my father's domain, but my dad refused to ever have any other children after my mother died.

A painful tug quickly brought me back to the present as Bella tugged a little too hard. "Ow, Bella please stop," but she didn't seem to listen, so I pulled my hair away from her grasp. This caused a cute little pout to be plastered on her face while her eyes started to water. "Bella, don't cry," but it was too late as small little whimpers escaped her lips and tears ran down her chubby red cheeks.

When Bella was upset, I tried to comfort her, I really did, but I was never really a comforting person back in my old life. I got that from my dad you could say. I wiped the tears off her cheeks and started to sing her a sweet lullaby that dad sometimes used to sing to me.

Close your eyes and go to sleep,

To wait for what is underneath,

All though the angels may say were,

The devil knows what's truly there.

Heavens guards watch from above,

Beyond the bridge of ancient glass,

Truth shatters, lies spread,

Through the living and the dead.

For those who cheat and are not fair,

Are those who never leave its lair,

So, choose your choice wisely, you've been warned,

Because the fates decide what happens at deaths door.

It isn't the most child friendly, but it did calm Bella down as she was quietly dosing to sleep, Bella really is good with weird. Over the past seven months, I came up with an ideal timeline that hopefully will work for twilight and the start of new moon, but you never know with the fates.

First, I would go to CHB and get a handle on the mist so I could make sure that when I did go to school, I wouldn't have to get in trouble all the time. Eventually, I would have to tell Bella about me being a Half-blood, that much was inevitably, I would go with my sister to forks but I'd have to be careful with what I do. The Cullen's at some point would catch on to me not being human but hopefully by that time I'll be prepared to revealed what I am.

Then I would try and get Bella over Edward while keeping Jacob at arms-length, on top of that, making sure that Bella wouldn't become suicidal. Wow, this was turning out to be a lot of work. 

I had been practising my powers every time Charlie wasn't in the room seeing as he still didn't know I wasn't technically his daughter, bless the guy.

The monsters hadn't come yet but it was only a matter of time. Then I would have to start my training and boy, that was going to be fun.

(Six Years Later)

Everything was a blur as the five of us ran through the woods. If you hadn't already guessed the fates weren't making my journey to CHB easy in the slightest. 

It started when I first woke up. My little sister Bella asleep in her room, while Renee was trying out new cooking recipes which were bound to taste awful, but fun to try nevertheless. The morning was as normal as all the others before until it wasn't. 

I looked out the window expecting to see the hot sun of phoenix shining, but instead I was met with the view of four young kids, two of them looking my age while the other two looked a little older. The kids were running from something in the woods but I couldn't quite see it. I spoke too soon as quickly approaching was a huge giant. Great.

The pieces fell into place, the kids were Demi-gods running from the giant. Oh no. I ran out the house, grabbing some matches that were on the counter in the living room. I light a match and threw it at the giant, it didn't get very far but it distracted the giant for a bit so the kids could run up our drive. 

Now, it may sound crazy letting kids that you haven't even said 'hi' to into your house, even if they are Demi-gods, but they are only kids. We all ran into the house panting for breath. "Thanks, but who are you?" Okay, straight to the point. 

"I'm Katerina Swan, I'm also a Demi-god." The boy with curly brown hair stood wide eyed and opened his mouth to talk. "How do you know-,"My mother told me a few years ago, we were just lucky that no monsters found me before hand." The boy seemed to accept the answer as he didn't press it any further.

I took a better look at the kids. The tallest of them was a boy with sandy coloured hair and clear blue eyes. The other two were both girls, one who had black hair and electric blue eyes while the other had blond hair and grey eyes. The fourth who had questioned me looked to be a satyr, the not-so-hidden hooves gave it away.

The four kept quiet until the boy with sandy hair spoke up. "Thanks for the help," there was a slight pause between his words,"maybe you would come with us to Camp Half-blood." Yes, this was exactly what I needed. All year I've been searching for an excuse to go to CHB. This was my chance. Things hadn't been going so well 

You see when Renee had divorced Charlie and moved away from Forks with us, she told Charlie and I about my heritage which for Charlie was a complete and utter shock, while to me it was like Renee had just asked me what I wanted for breakfast, well mentally. 

Of course I had to act shocked as, although she knew that I knew about my powers, Renee had no idea about me knowing that I was a Half-blood. After, they were both left without knowing any the wiser. Though, Charlie still insisted that he would behave like my dad which in a way I was grateful for as Bella was still a little young to know and there was know way that she wouldn't notice the difference.

This was all fine and all but I really have been longing to get back to what I truly consider my world, this may be a little cruel, but my true dad is in that world and I've only been able to see him in visions in my dreams. I quickly wrote down an explanation to Renee about the situation, hopefully she'll forgive me later, but for now I've got to go.

So, the five of us took off. "Im Thalia by the way, and this is Annabeth," the girl with electric blue eyes said, gesturing towards the other I now know as Annabeth. "Well its nice to meet ya." 

"I like what you did back there with the lighter," Annabeth commented giving me a smile.

"Thanks, so what's your story." 

By the end of that day we were inseparable.....                 But nothing lasts forever.
