Blood Red Night

The large stone walls of Wall Maria stood protectively over the small village, towering over the many citizens freely walking about, aimlessly wandering the quiet town.
Their minds ranged from anxieties and emotions of whenever another Titan would attack, tearing down the only wall protecting them from inevitable death.

Sasuke walked beside Naruto, walking slowly out of the protective embrace of the walls. They silently walked within the line of military troops, their minds racing throwing thoughts left and right like an angry ocean thrashing about. "Was this.. The right decision? Will I die..?"

Both of them had never seen life outside of these walls, they hadn't had a hint of what it would be like, not to mention how dangerous it was.
Sasuke walked beside Naruto, climbing onto the large ship, the ship that would take them far from the outside of these walls.

After the line of troops climbed aboard, the ship had begun to depart, forever exiting the safety of the walls. The ship floated carelessly along the bed of water, drifting out of the harbor. Exiting the walls.
Pure dread and anxiety was already settling inside of Naruto, eating away at him like maggots.

Sasuke turned his head to Naruto, reading his face like an open book. Anxiety, fear, and dread spread across his face like a burning wildfire.
Naruto's body shook, his hands profusely sweating as he sat down onto a large box, looking out over the open ocean.

-"S-Sasuke.. I-I can't do this.. I can't!" Naruto raised his voice, anxiety rattled his vocal chords as he spoke. His chest grew tight and his mouth went dry as a desert. Sasuke just looked down, looked down in his own dread.

-"Don't be so stupid, Naruto. We were drafted, we had no damn choice. Fear is not going to make this any better for you. Fear is useless in this line of work." Sasuke stated coldly, looking into the large eyes of Naruto.

Naruto went silent, looking out at the ocean he watched the small waves slamming into each other as the ship moved across the bed of water.
His mind went to many places, throwing him into the deep end of his brain showering him with tormenting thoughts.

-"Being fearful is fine Naruto.. But.. Don't show it out here." Sasuke's voice broke the trance inside of Naruto's mind.
Naruto sighed deeply, planting his face into the shoulder of Sasuke wrapping his arms around his torso as tears rolled down his soft pale cheeks, creating wet spots on Sasuke's clothing.

Sasuke softly ran his fingers down Naruto's back, trying to somewhat relax him. He didn't need a breakdown in the middle of an already brain shattering moment.
-"Just.. Don't overthink this shit. Don't fill your mind with more fear.. It's not going to benefit you." Sasuke sighed, resting his back against the ship's walls.

The ship rested along the harbor, settling into the dock with a large hault. Naruto awoke to the ship's sudden stop, he opened his eyes, awakening to a whole new place.

Sasuke punches Naruto awake, harshly punching him in the left shoulder.
-"A-Ah ow! What was that for?!" Naruto yelled, clutching his shoulder, rubbing it vigorously. -"Get your ass up, we're leaving the boat now." Sasuke stated, getting himself up.

Naruto followed beside Sasuke, both boys stepped out from the ship walking to the next destination following the many troops in a straight line.
The couple followed the troops, getting into a line. Lining up beside them, standing still as they respectfully waited for the commander.

Naruto began to sweat profusely as his anxiety took over his mind and body, his stomach twisted into many knots over and over.
He tried to speak but was immediately silenced by Sasuke.

Captain Levi walked towards the line of troops with a cold hard judgmental stare, his face was completely emotionless and empty as he walked straight on towards the cadets.
