Frank: hey Carrie what you doing tonight?
Carrie: well nothing, we're always doing nothing.
Frank: it's my night off so do you fancy going down the Crown. I've heard something massive is going down.
Carrie: let me get this straight. You want ... to go to work on your night off?
Frank: yeah basically.
Carrie: we can go, as long as you pay for the drinks
*the two laugh as the scene ends*

Characters: Scott, Eddie
Location: Builders Yard
Scott: hey son. There's a job on at 2pm at Walker Road. Do you think you can do it because I've got an errand to run?
Eddie: what sort of an errand?
Scott: I've got to get something sorted for your mothers birthday tomorrow.
Eddie: like what exactly?
Scott: don't tell her but I'm organising a surprise party
Eddie: you do know she'll hate that right dad?
Scott: no she won't she'll love it
Eddie: she's turning 62, not 16. But yes dad I'll take the 2 o'clock just to see you make a tit of yourself.
*Warren walks up to the yard*
Warren: evening ladies. Why am I censing a tension?
Eddie: dads organising a surprise party for mum's birthday tomorrow
Scott: idiot!
Eddie: what? You said don't tell mum not don't tell warren.
Warren: you do know that's a bloody awful idea dad?
Eddie: I have warned him
Scott: trust me lads she's gonna love it
Scene 3
Characters: Richard, Arlene
Location: Hall Lane Estate
Richard: good morning my dear
Arlene: Hey Rich, you wanting some breakfast?
Richard: I'll have a sausage sandwich if your offering.
Arlene: ok I'll get it on. ... wait Richard?
Richard: yes love?
Arlene: you know the salon, Stella's?
Richard: yeah. What about it. You wanting to book an appointment?
Arlene: I want to buy it!
Scene 4
Characters: Tiffany, Barbara, Alfie
Location: 5 Gate Avenue
Barbara: good morning love. Are you working today?
Tiffany: yes I am, why'd you ask?
Barbara: there's something happening at the pub later I was wondering if you fancied it.
Tiffany: can we bring Alfie?
Alfie: why do I have to go? I'm 13 can't I stay at home
Barbara: let the bairn stay here. Me, you and Matt will have a good night out
Tiffany: ok fine mum. We'll go
*Barbara smiles as the scene cuts*

Location: Stella's (salon)
Stella: your late!
Latifa: sorry Stella there was a few family troubles this morning. And it's only 5 minutes.
Stella: I'll let you off this once because I'm nice
Latifa: sure you are ...
Stella: don't push it woman. Now there's a woman over there waiting for a cut and blow dry so chop chop.
Latifa: Roger that miss.
Stella: you wanting a coffee love?
Latifa; sure
Stella: not you
Client (Extra): yes please Stella
*Stella goes to make a coffee as the scene cuts*

Location: Hussain & Ingram's (corner shop)
Khalil: how's things going with you and Tiff?
Matthew: good, thanks. Any love interests for you?
Khalil: not yet. If you ever break up with Tiffany though, give her my number
Matthew: can you stop hitting on my girlfriend?
*The pair laugh*
*Nikki walks into the shop*
Matthew: alright Nikki, what can we get you?
Nikki: I've just come to get away from my mum really.
*Nikki picks up a packet of biscuits*
Nikki: just these please Matt.
*Matthew beeps the machine and the scene ends*
