Camilo sat back down, confused as to what Dolores was talking about. "Crush? Who has a crush?"

Dolores looked at him, realizing she said that out loud. "Oh.. it's nothing you should worry about." Camilo crossed his arms, extremely curious. "Is it someone we know?" Dolores's eyes going wide and the squeak that escaped her lips was all he needed. "It is! Who?!" He leans forward, eagerly awaiting what she was gonna say.

"Well if you if all people don't know she has a crush on someone I shouldn't be the one to say anything. If she didn't tell you she probably doesn't want people knowing." She states, dusting off her skirt once she stood up.

"So they're a she..." Camilo mutters before the realization hits.

Who was the one girl Camilo knew well enough?

Who was the one girl who Dolores would expect to tell him things like this?

He rapidly jumps to his feet, grabbing onto his sister's arm. "Is it mi hermosa?!" Dolores squeaked once again.

"Do you know who it is?" Dolores shakes her head at this question. "No, all she said was that her crush is getting worse."

Before he got to process this new information, an argument was heard downstairs. "Look at our home! Look at your sister!" He looked at his older sister, seeing her turn to him as well.

They rushed to see what was going on, grabbing onto each other's hand. The two female voices were getting louder by the second. The voices Camilo recognized to be those of Mirabel and his abuela.

"Isabela wasn't happy!" Mirabel explains once they reached the area of commotion. "Of course she wasn't happy, you ruined her proposal!" Alma takes a step towards Mirabel and Isabela, throwing her arm to her side.

Isabela's dress was now a dark blue, the dress and her hair covered in bright neon colors. She stood there with her arms crossed, looking down in disgrace. She was expected to be perfect. Messy hair and covered in paint wasn't exactly a "perfect" image. There were plants everywhere. And not the usual flowers and vines Isabela would always create, but bright, exotic plants covered the railings of casita.

"No she needed me to ruin her proposal! And then we did all this! And the candle burned brighter and the cracks. That's why I'm in the vision I'm saving the mira-"

"You have to stop Mirabel!" She was cut off by a livid Alma. "The cracks started with you. Bruno left because of you. Luisa's losing her powers, Isabela's out of control, because of you! I do not know why you weren't given a gift. But it is not an excuse to hurt this family." They stood there, Mirabel staring at her with hurt eyes.

Mirabel then broke the silence. "I will never be good enough for you... will I? No matter how hard I try. No matter how hard any of us tries. Luisa will never be strong enough. Isabela wont be perfect enough. Bruno left because you only saw the worst in him." Alma then again slightly cuts her off. "Bruno didn't care about this family!" Mirabel did the same thing Alma had been doing to her, and cut her off. "He loves this family. We all love this family. Your'e the one who doesn't care! You're the one breaking our home."

"Don't you ever-"

"The miracle is dying because of you."

The floor beneath them cracks. The house begins to rumble before more cracks appeared. The cracks were leading to the candle, threatening the miracle. They knock the candle over, casita jolting.

Mirabel sprints towards the fallen candle. Camilo let go of Dolores's hand and ran up the stairs. He used his shape shifting abilities to dodge the falling parts, trying his best to get to the candle. Isabela also attempted to reach it, creating vines to swing on. The illuminating doors began to flicker before completely shutting off. Isabela, who was swinging on a vine, fell. Her power was gone. Camilo, who had shifted into an adult to reach the candle, went back to his original form as he landed on the floor. His gift was also now gone.

Everyone but Mirabel was pushed out of the house. She continued to attempt to grab the candle. She managed to successfully do so but it was no use.

Casita had finally crumbled, Mirabel held the now burnt down candle in her hands.

"Mi amor! Mija wake up! Get up!" You were shook awake by your mama.

Groaning, you rub your eyes. "Ay mama.. que paso? I'm trying to sleep.." She pulls you up, trying to wake you up fully.

"The Madrigal home broke down! I'm surprised you didn't wake up. It was pretty loud." Your eyes widen, not expecting that response. You run to the nearest window, mouth agape from the sight.

You quickly threw on some shoes, not bothering to change. "Donde vas?!" Your mama yells behind you while you sprinted down the stairs.

The cold breeze hit your skin as you ran across the cracked road. Thankfully, even though you stumbled a few times you managed to catch yourself before you ended up with any injures.

Finally reaching the spot casita once resided, you saw the figure of a teenage boy walking around the rubble. A teenage boy with curly hair and remarkably bad posture.

You carefully ran to the figure, making sure to not trip over anything. " 'Milo!" you exclaim, throwing your arms around him. "Are you okay?" you ask worried, cupping his cheeks. He slowly shakes his head, looking down. "My powers are gone.." he mutters.

You lift his chin up with your finger, eyes filled with sympathy. You knew that Camilo believed he was only special because of his gift. It was something he always struggled with.

"Hey. Cariño look at me. Everything's gonna be okay. Alright?" He looks up at you, making eye contact before embracing you. He stuffs his face in the crook of your neck as you rubbed his head, trying your best to comfort him.

You both stood like that for a while before he spoke. "You're cold. Look you've even got goosebumps. Why didn't you put a sweater on?" You were so focused on him that you didn't notice you were shivering. "I'm fine." You didn't move from your position, but he did. He looked up at you, backing away from the hug.

He takes his ruana off, leaving himself in his white button-up and black pants. "Ven para aca." You didn't move so he grabbed your arm. He pulled you closer to him and threw his ruana over you. "No 'Milo.. you're gonna get cold." You protested as you began to take it off. "Hermosa I swear to santo dios if you take that off I will get Mirabel to sew it to your pajamas." You drop the fabric that you were grasping.

"Okay, lo siento, lo siento. I'll leave it on." He smugly grins, crossing his arms. Thankfully, his mood has seemed to have gotten better.

"Young lady if you ever run off again- is that Camilo's?!" Your mama comes up to you, noticing the ruana. She then turns to see Camilo standing in front of you. "Oh, hola Camilo. How are you holding up? I just spoke to Pepa and things aren't looking too good. You're okay though right mijo?" He nods, giving her a reassuring smile. "That's good to hear. Now what's going on with this sharing clothes thing?" she smirks with a raised brow.

You sigh, pinching the bridge of your nose. "Mama.." Camilo nudges you, snickering. "Nada, she was freezing so I made her wear my ruana before she caught a cold." Your mama smiles, ruffling his already messy curls. "Pepa and Felix sure raised you well. Such a gentleman. I'm going to go with the adults. Please, don't get hurt in the rubble." The both of you nod before she leaves.

"Heard that hermosa? I'm a gentleman" Camilo boasts, taking pride in what your mama had called him. "Yeah, don't let that get to your head." You giggle, poking at his chest.

"Mirabel?!" You both heard Julieta and Agustin yelling for their daughter. Mirabel ran away.
