Ivy's POV
After Miles dropped me home and I went inside, Megan flew her arms around me. "Oh my God, what happened? I was worried sick! I couldn't find you at the party and your phone was off!" I smile. "Its okay. I'm fine I there was a guy..." I told Megan the whole story of Miles, the same boy at the bar. "And he just came to your rescue! That's so cute" I laughed at the dramatic responses Megan was giving me about some boy I barely knew. "I told your Dad you slept over and went to the store to pick up something and I would meet you here." "Thanks," I smiled. My Dad would of screamed and threw things if he knew where I had actually been. My Dad gave me a short hello and Megan and I went upstairs. "You said my phone was off?" I asked. "Yeah, it went right to voicemail." I went into my sweater pocket to see it had been turned off. "Miles must of turned it off," I said thinking out loud. I turned it on to see a new contact made. Miles. with a winking face.
Monday was back again and Megan routinely came to carpool to and from school with me, besides I was always up so early to open the restaurant. Miles hadn't texted me at all after dropping me off, but it wasn't like we were dating or anything so why worry about it? He probably put it in there if I needed saving again. I walked to my history class to see Tristan walking up to me. "Everything okay?" "You kinda disappeared from the party." "Yeah. I uh, went home early." "I didn't know you knew Miles." How does he know him? "His ex Stacy was pretty upset you were the one who went home with him." "What? No, he just dropped me home." "Well, Stacy has been trying to get back with Miles. Even though she's annoying as hell and so needy. She's probably been with every guy." I didn't know Miles liked those kind of girls. The ones that sleep around and are sitting on a new guy's lap every party. "She's the jealous type, and she always gets what she wants." Why is he even telling me this? We aren't together. All of a sudden my phone vibrates, and the contact "Miles ;)" came clear on the screen.
