NOT EVERYONE IS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO wake up and never worry about where your next meal is coming from, or if you will have clothes on your back. megan, unfortunately is one of the less fortunate.
megan and her sister tory had always been each others rock. they had been the reason each other had been alive their seventeen years of life. they were best friends, family, and each other's life line. nothing could separate them.
the two were twins, technically, if you look at their birth certificates. however, that didn't stop them from growing up incredibly different. while tory had her fun being the head-strong, intimidating one, megan was laid back, and hung around in the background. completely different, and yet so alike.
there was one thing that the two teenagers shared, the need and the want to be wanted. they wanted nothing more than to have someone want them and need them in their life. they wanted the respect and the feeling of being valued. to put it simply, they wanted to be loved.
when tory brings megan along with her try-out for a local karate dojo, their lives become messier than they ever imagined, but megan gets the one thing she's always wanted. she meets a long-haired boy who showed the girl everything she's ever wanted, and treats her how she's always wanted to be treated,
