Flashback Part 2. New Start

I woke up to the sound of the car coming to a slow stop. I lefted my messed up face off the window of the car window. There was saliva from my drooling on it so I wiped it off with my sleeve. When I finished clean it off I notice there was a manison the size of a palace right before my eyes. I don't think we are in New York anymore. Ron turn around from the driver side.

"Good morning sleeping beauty. How are you? Did you sleep good? " he asked.

"Fine thank you. And may I ask where are we? " I tried to sound nice as I could.

" Well sweetheart, we are my house. This, how you may say 'The rich part of New York City '. And you don't need to act so nice. Treat me like a long lost friend. " he replied.

He got out of the car and open the trunk to get my stuff. I followed his actions. I got out and carried two bags to the front door of the castle.

"Hey I cant let you do that. The doctor said not to push your self. Which means no picking up you things from the trunk. " he repliad with a happy, cheery voice, he took my bags from my hand and tried to open the door. He couldn't do it with all the bags so he drop them carefully on the floor. The place the key into the lock and gave it a twist before the door open up. He grab the bags once more and place them in the entrenace of the hallway. From the door way he lock the car with the push of a button. He used his foot to close the door behind him.

"Honey I'm home. " he shouted.

"You have a wife? " I asked not knowing. Clearly I don't know nothing about this man.

" No my wife died a few years ago. Honey is my dog. She very nice, and don't worry, she doesn't bite." he laughed.

"I don't find dogs biting people is funny. Some poeple can die." I said with a serious tone that even I was shocked that I had that voice in side me.

"Wow. I didn't know you had that voice inside you. And yes its a serious thing when dogs bite people. I laughed because most people are scaried of Honey, but they don't released that she cant bite because she has an over bite. And the vet took out her front teeth so she can grow them back correctly." he explained.

And when he finished there was a thud and another thud and another one. It sounded like a giant. In the middle of the entrance of the doorway there is a large spiral stair case. The entrance is huge and large in width and leght. But any way back to the mystery sound. The sound had to come from the top ofbthe stairs. It was the biggest, fattest, female dog ever. It was like a female wolf.But this dog had short hair, black fur with dark brown streaks also honey color eyes to match her name. This she wolf had the same shape as a real wolf. She could be wolf for all I knew. It also had a honey or creamy color bow tied to her head.

I think the dog is bigger and way heavy / stronger then me. So I started to flip out. You know when you see a huge dog coming for you, you have this feeling that its going to eat you or something. That's how I felt. And I don't like that feeling at all. So I stood there like a tree. Stiff life a board and tried not to act scared of the monster.

The wolf dog slowed its pace and walked slowly to me. When it reached at sniff lenght she started to sniff me. She sticker her nose in everything even where the sun doesn't shine. She walked over to my bags and did the same thing. She walked over to Ron and sat down at his feet. I reached out my hand so I can pet her but she growled, I retacked my hand. Then I tried again but with less fear. Her growl grew louder and louder everytime I reached close to her head. I didn't care if she bite me, I was going to pet her one way or the other. Once I reached a pinkys lenght of her head, she growling stop and she lower her head so it made it easier for me to pet her.

"You passed her test. She does that to everyone new. To see if they are worthy of her protection. And clearly you are going to be protected by her. If your scared of her, she thinks your a weakling and desires to die.I know it weird that she would say that but its what she shows and that's how I see it. " he petted Honey on her head.
