Labels

High school. Probably the worst form of human torture that could ever exist. The endless embarrassment and backstabbing that you might as well go die in a hole. For example, one day you might accidentally bump into somebody that happened to have a water bottle in their hand and it spills all over your clothes. People laugh because they think you peed your pants when they clearly saw what just happened! Morons. And as if it isn't enough, they had to make labels. Jocks, nerds, geeks, dorks, preps, populars, emos, goths, skaters, hippies, flirts, drama queens, band geeks. Although I could go on and on, I wouldn't want to bore you. These labels separated everybody depending on how they look, act, how smart they are, etc.

Almost everybody in school has a bad label. Except for the preps, jocks and of course, the populars. Don't get me wrong or anything, being a nerd isn't bad! But the populars, preps, and jocks will make anybody's life miserable if you aren't one of them. They think if you aren't with them, your below them. That you are a nobody in high school. They are the only separation between the cliques. And by they, I don't mean the jocks or the preps. They are just there to enforce. They are the populars.

Scarlett Hunter. The gossip catalog. She knows about everything that goes on in this stupid school. She always had on like seven pounds of lip gloss and her bright red hair is hard to miss.

Harper King. She is head of the cheerleading squad. She is always finding some way to flirt or shop. Her wardrobe is almost all pink and she is almost the girliest girl that you will ever find on Earth. Almost.

And last of all we have the queen bee, Amber Starr. I could never ever sum up Amber Starr in just one paragraph so brace yourself. Amber Starr is the only girly girl that would probably best Harper King. She never misses a moment to look in a mirror to make sure that her lip gloss hasn't smudged or her eyelashes are uncurling. She spends about an hour and a half getting ready for school each morning and has never worn an outfit twice. Not that I pay attention. Amber gets all her input on what's happening from Scarlett Hunter. Her way to know what would embarrass others.

Amber is the kind of girl you would never want to anger. One time a girl wore the same shirt she did and nobody ever saw her again. Ok so I am probably exaggerating it but I have gotten the point across haven't I? Amber shops 24/7 at a store called Magnafique. A store where only the top designers from France and Italy can place their items. The jeans are like $700! How do they afford that?!

Oh! I forgot to introduce myself. I am Summer Dean. I am a nerd and I am proud of it. Well atleast I used to be. Now don't go thinking that Nerds are the people that duct tape their giant glasses and rome the halls trying to find all the combinations to a rubix cube. Or people that do nothing but study and have never seen a party. Nerds are just really smart people. It's not like we aren't people either. This is the story of how I went from the anti social caterpillar of the school to the most popular butterfly ever.

A/N: this isn't one of my best books and I have never been one to write about drama so, tell me if you think I should keep writing or not.
