As the sun shined on his face through the blinds and the familiar annoying melody of the alarm interrupted his sleep, Jungkook groaned and stretched out like cat that woke up from a long nap.
His first thoughts were about Taehyung. How was he? Did he sleep well? Did he sleep at all? Well, he would find out very soon, since it was time to head to work.
Jungkook quickly took a shower and dressed up, realizing that Yoongi probably already left since his jacket and shoes were gone. So he made his way over to the studio.
When he got there, everything seemed normal, well, until he approached the conference room. Jungkook heard yelling so he decided to stay in front of the door for a second before he came in, making sure not to interrupt anything. After a few moments of listening, he realized what was going on.
Yoongi opened the door to let the boy, Taehyung had just fired, out, taken aback by Jungkook who slightly jumped as the door opened.
"What on earth are you doing?" he whispered as he stepped outside, drawing everyone's attention to them.
"I didn't know if it was a good idea to come in. It sounded scary." Jungkook whispered back.
"Is there a problem out there?!" Taehyung shouted, leaning on the table to see what was going on in the hallway.
"No. It's Jungkook, he was just about to come in when the door hit him." Yoongi winked at the younger and came back in, dragging him along.
Taehyung just sighed, flashing a smile to Jungkook as he sat down besides him. "Okay, you can start with the schedule." he added, pointing at their manager, making her stand up.
"Are you okay? Did you sleep well last night?" Jungkook whispered to Taehyung, gently rubbing his back.
"Here and there, but I'm okay I guess. We'll talk later okay?" Taehyung reassured as Jungkook nodded, focusing on the manager.
The "later" Taehyung was talking about, never really came that day, since he fired three more people and had a lot of paperwork to do and appointments with bigger clients, so only Yoongi did his photoshoot, along with the team. When it was time to go home, Taehyung and Yoongi had to stay, since they didn't finish everything they planned for the day.
Jungkook went to the gym before he went home, hoping to relieve some of the piled up stress. He called up one of his close friends, Yugyeom to be exact, to keep him company since he considered Jungkook his personal trainer as a joke and they often worked out together.
Jungkook made sure to leave Taehyung a few texts, hoping to cheer him up even just a little bit. __
