Mid winter break :)

Brooklyn POV:

"And so they keep, on, twiddlin them thumbs..." Sang Sabrina Carpenter in my earbuds.

"Guys!" Rio yelled. "Look!"

I took out one earbud and say Rio waving a piece of paper. I caught a glimpse of the word 'City spies'

I immediately sat up straight. "Rio keep your voice down!" I whispered.

"Right." He said.

City Spies: We have a lead. Meet at [CENSORED] at [CENSORED]. Be there. Here's a map for maneuvering around the security cameras.

That was in an hour. I quickly rushed to inform my friends.

We grabbed our coats and headed out. The security cameras were hard to slip through, although they were a bit obvious. None of us said a word as we walked.

Soon, we reached the location.

"Where are they?" Kat whispered.

I checked my watch. It was right on time. I got the feeling that Erica liked to be early, but she wasn't here. Neither were the others.

Now I was getting worried.

"Do you think something might've happened to them?" I whispered.

"Well, well, well." I jumped. Who was that?

"Turns out I WAS right, Joshua." My eyes widened. I knew that voice. Magpie. I tensed up. This was a trap. And I didn't think that we would get out of it.

"Yes, yes. Now you all," Joshua turned his gaze to us. "You're surrounded."

That was the last thing I heard before something pricked me and I blacked out.

Ben POV:

Time stamp: The next day

"I found out where the other security cameras are. I should have a clear path to send them a message." Erica said to me.

"Good-" I started to say, but Erica cut me off. "Bad news, I checked up on the City spies and they're not in their rooms."

I grew worried. "Where could they be? Have they been captured?"

"The likelihood is that they have. They're as bad as you are being a spy and that's saying a lot."

I rolled my eyes. "Who cares? The important thing is that we find where they are."
