I push through doors of the tower, running up the stairs happy as usual. This time no generals to fight me, after all what's the point when the towers closed. I'm glad that they trust me enough to let me in even though their closed, it gives me more time to see my queen.
As I'm rushing up the stairs I hear something. It sounds like soft moans. I find it weird since there's no one nearby. Not even the usual smaller demons.
No one's POV
The mages steps get softer for every set of stairs she climbs. Even going as far to slow down her pace. The sounds got louder and louder until they finally stopped. Mhmp, strange init.
Malori soon made it to the top floor already forgetting the strange moans. She pushed the door to the throne room with excitement. Only to find Vel... more relaxed then usually...even tired. Which was a rare sight to see. Hell for Malori it was a new sight to see.
But of course it didn't stop the baker to be her usual self.

Velverosa just nodded, not caring to much about the girls presence. All vel responded with was a snap. Confused at first Malori noticed pookas skipping like a short happy kid putting chairs down. The chairs were laced with red silk and a black cussion. Soon the pookas were back with pastrys and tea...and of course a table
