Three years later

mom" the sound of my two year old toddler screaming fills my ears

I slowly opened my eyes to see Zack does he have to be so loud in the morning I love him but he's a real handful

I sigh before getting up and giving all my attention to him

"back already" I said he stayed at his grandmothers house last night

Luna wanted to tell him about his grandfather she really misses him I can see it in her eyes

Their relationship was so amazing and true

"wow mom what's wrong with you hair" he says and Axl chuckles behind me the mother fucker had fun with it banging the shit out of me last night

Thank god Zack wasn't home cause who knows the questions he'll ask me this morning

I walked to the bathroom still sore from last night I still have no idea why men doesn't get these pains and only women do cause its infuriating

I placed zack on the counter and gave him his tooth brush he acts like a big boy but I don't want him to be

"did you have fun at grandma's" I asked as Axl walks in shirtless His body looking so god damm fine

"Don't get naughty sweet heart we can do it tonight too" he says and I roll eyes at him

"What did you guys do" Zach says and I signalled Axl to give him an answer facing the mirror brushing my teeth

"well son when two people love each other" Axl says and I scream stopping him with the toothbrush still in my mouth as I smacked him across the head

"Come on babe he's gonna need that talk eventually" he says and I spat out the toothpaste from my mouth

"not now he's two for gods sake" I said pointing my toothbrush at him as he rose his hands to surrender

"breakfast everyone" Luna shouts from downstairs

Yay she's making breakfast which means I don't have to that's really good I'm kinda lazy

Kinda yesterday you didn't want to the laundry so you paid the gardener to do it for you

No one has to know what's the worst that can happen

I walled downstairs and Luna hugs me "the gardener is looking for you" she says with a spatula in her hand and I nod waking outside and waving at him

He's an old man about seventy

I walled back in and saw Luna flipping pancakes with one hand and scrolling through her phone with the other

Axl helps Zack onto the stool and sat in the one next to him as I grabbed a cup of coffee for both of us

"hey guys" hanes says walking into the kitchen he's changed since thena left he's not as Hanes anymore he's more mean and lifeless he took over the street racing part of Axl legacy

I told Axl that I didn't want Zack around those things and he agreed

"Sup" I said taking out the coffee from the microwave

I'm a housewife not a chef I leave that to Luna after she moved out and into the retirement home she's been happier

We begged her not to go to that home but she insisted that she needed to be around people her age or else she's gonna lose it

She still takes Zack on the weekends and the ladies at the retirement home love him

They call him little man cause he's always making them laugh

"I have something for you" hanes says out of the blue dusting his hands off the toast he was eating

"no for the boy who came out of you" he says and I nod that made more sense

Hanes signals everyone to go outside and we all do following behind him

We walled out the door and there is a small electric car perfect for Zack size sitting in the middle of the lawn

"I figured I'd bring you an early birthday present" he tells Zack and his face lights up with joy

Grinning as zack pulls Axl and hanes to the car with him

Watching as Axl places him in the car and hanes showing him how it works my phone dings I looked at it to see a text from Alex

Alex "good luck being a parent I'm getting drunk in Vegas"

Alexa "this is why I'm dads favorite I'm responsible"

Alex "yeah yeah hey do you mind wiring me one grand I left my wallet home"

I smile at my dumb brother and wired him money remembering dad is also have a nice time in the Bahamas he sends me cute pics with him and this woman he met

I smile at the recipt as Luna hands me a letter

Its from Korea and I already know who it is

After all she did I chose to forgive her Axl didn't yet and he's still sensitive on the topic he doesnt even want Zack knowing about her

She sents me alot of letters but I don't respond I don't know what to say

So I don't tell him about the letters only Luna knows and she's happy that she can hear from her daughter after all it wasn't her fault what happened to Richard but it is her fault with what happened to everyone

I opened the letter to a flower falling out of it I picked up the flower and opened the letter

Hey alexa I know we haven't talked lately I still try to keep in tabs with what's happening with you listen I know I always say this but I'm so sorry for what I did to you you will probably never forgive me but I feel the need to say it still

I wanted to let you know I'm betting the help I need this place is alot but I'm getting through it

Unfortunately this is my last letter and you won't be hearing from me again I've decided that I have hurt you enough and I don't need to anymore I hope everything is okay with zack he's a real angel from what mom has told me
